About Me: I moved around a lot growing up, but consider myself a Southerner at heart. I love scrapbooking, dancing, doggies, and diet coke. I am all about personalizing everything and hence, I'm a DIY bride who is just loving the entire wedding planning process! Mr. Daffodil and I met in our college fellowship group and were "just friends" for three years before we started dating. We've been together for four years now and can't wait to get married in sunny SoCal, Mr. Daffodil's hometown.
I Guess That’s Why They Call It A Tease…

Every master must have the time to do his work. For that reason, I’ve been calmly and patiently awaiting our wedding photos from the renowned Scott Robert, as I want him to have enough time to perfect his art! But then, out of nowhere, I got blindsided! These showed up on his assistant photographer’s blog yesterday, and now I am left salivating for more!
That’s me above, getting ready in the bride’s room, right before I was headed out to see Mr. D for the first time.
Below is a posed shot not too long after we saw each other!
And here is a ring shot that Esther (Scott’s assistant) took, on the church’s organ. I thought this was so cool, as it totally didn’t cross my mind that detail shots like these were getting taken while we were getting ready, and I was so pleasantly surprised!
Pretty awesome shots huh?! I am so shocked and impressed! Now, I am just dying to see more of our pro photos and to share them with the hive!…I can barely bear it!!

All beautiful! The bench shot is incredible! I love how ethereal the veil looks in all the photos.

@Laura: I got my shoes at Discount Elegant Bridal…they were the “Desire” dyeable shoes, and you can get them in either white or ivory…

You look absolutely STUNNING in those pictures! Can I inquire about your hair? I love the way it looks both with the veil and without. I was looking to do a similar half up half down style for my wedding as well and wanted to see if you could share some hair photos. Thanks!
@cherie: hi cherie, i totally loved my veil too and the best part of it was how affordable it was (around $60-70!)! i got mine from veilshop.com…i think it was the single layer, fine embroidered cathedral length one in champagne. the greatest thing about veilshop is you can buy multiple veils to sample the color, and as long as you ship the ones you don’t want back postmarked within 7 days, they refund you the balance.
