Well, it seems the Shoe Gods were listening to my cries. Like Miss Hydrangea, I am a HUGE fan of the Gilt Groupe sales. Yesterday marked the beginning of one of their biggest sales of the year including over 25 of the featured designers from previous sales this year. They offered up to 90% off of the clothing, jewelry handbags and - you guessed it - shoes!!

As soon as I saw them, I knew they were a must-buy - Ceremony Shoes or not. The KORS platform espadrilles paired with the black and white striped criss cross ankle wraps paid an excellent homage to my wedding decor. My wedding shoe collection can now be called “Black and White Striped Shoes, Two Ways.” I’m starting to wonder if they might be too casual for my wedding dress - but at the same time, it’s just to get me up and down that hill! Of course, I couldn’t pass on checking out the other goodies they had available on deep discounts. I spotted a few dresses, but few were in my size. At some point, one must ask themselves, “Am I buying this just because it’s cheap, or because I love it and can’t live without it?”

Uhm, I think I love it and I can’t live without it! I love the little flare at the hem of the dress as well as the tiny black rhinestones that are scattered on the puff sleeves to add that little touch of sparkle. I can’t decide if I should wear it to a Bridal Shower, Bachelorette Party or Rehearsal Dinner - what do you think?
