Bachelorette Dress

July 3rd, 2008 @ 12:55 pm by Mrs. Margarita

My bachelorette is next weekend in NYC and I am having a hard time choosing a fun dress to wear on Saturday night.

Option 1 - Black Nanette Lepore dress from http://www.shopbop.com/

Front

nl

Back

Option 2 - Shoshanna red strapless bubble dress from http://www.revolveclothing.com/

Front

shoshan

Back

Also, if you shop at Revolve, I found a coupon code for 15% off. Just enter JT in the promotion code field at checkout.

Keeping in mind that I am no skinny model (yay for booty and thighs!),

Which dress option do you like?

While I like both dresses, I think that the colour of the second dress would really compliment your skin tone and look fantastic!
Does the first dress come in another colour?
I am sure you will look great in either!

katie says:

I love the second dress, but it’s strapless and if you party hard, then a dress with straps might be a better option :)

I like both dresses, but I voted for the 2nd purely based on color. Red = HOT. :)

voted for the second dress because of the color, too! it’s fun and bold! the bubble is really cute too.

@Mrs. Toucan: Ditto! I just really liked the color of the second dress, but I thought both were cute.

the shoshanna dress! since little black dresses seem to be the most defaulted to, you’ll stand out for sure in that sexy red number! :)

I love the Shoshanna– it’s so fun and bold! Save the black dress for the rehearsal dinner or some other more staid event.

OMG I’m going to NYC next weekend for my bachelorette party too!!! Where are you going?
Love both dresses! I agree with Katie on the strapless dress, you might be pulling it up a lot when you are dancing around.

The color of dress 2 screams IM A HOT BEYATCH! I love it Miss Marg. Cant wait to see your beautiful self in one of them, partying it up!

Lillindy says:

It seems you’ve already decided, but I was going to say that I love the color of dress 2 for you, but like the practicality of dress 1 because you can wear a real bra and with the 2nd dress you may have to hold it up while you boogey on down.

Pita says:

DEFINITELY the Shoshanna dress. It’s your bachelorette, and this dress is way more fun and sexy! woot woot! :)
