Endless nights I’ve spent longing to hear from you. The minute hand on the clock seems to move backwards as I spend countless hours clicking “send/receive” on my e-mail inbox, just waiting to see if there is any word from you. I thought the last night we spent together was just bliss. We ate, we drank, we laughed. Love was in the air. It was, by far, one of the happiest days of my life.
But since then, I’ve felt that there is a distance between us. We’ve grown apart since that night. The weeks dragged by…
And then…you teased.
And now once again, I sit at home, alone in the dark, waiting for you to whisper my name.

So… this may be an odd question, but how is that ring hanging on that flower? I’ve been sitting here for a minute or two trying to figure out how they got that ring on it! I mean, the ring is a bit small to slip the flower through… right?

i hired the wonderfully talented sarah k chen for my wedding as well so i get totally giddy whenever i see another wedding or eshoot on her blog (next year one of those will be mind =o!). *sigh*!! can’t wait til you get all your pics…i will be waiting with baited breath alongside you!! =P
@KatieZ: Honestly, I have no idea either!!! those flowers are in my mom’s backyard, and Sarah took the ring shots while I was getting my makeup done. I’m gonna have to ask her how she did that! The only guess I have is if the flower was picked and she slipped the ring on the back and was holding it like that?

Is it weird that I am picturing you in lingerie sitting in the dark on the stool of your velvet covered vanity stool staring into the darkness as the moonlight shines in through the rain hitting your windows?
p.s. attention bees - yes, i usually picture you all in lingerie gocco-ing, printing, taping, glue-dotting, wraping, partying, shoe shopping… etc.
Oh my gosh…LOVE the pictures, especially the one with the ring hanging off the upside down flower-I can never remember the name of those plants! I’ll have to keep this photographer in mind sometime in the next 5 years (knock on wood) when it’s my turn!
