About Mrs. Espresso

Yes- that wonderful line is what I hear at the end of my Gilad workouts- and it makes me laugh every time. For those of you who do not know Gilad, he is a TV personal trainer who has been around since the dawn of time, and he still looks amazing! He may be a bit corny, and some of the videos are from the 80’s, but seriously- the exercises work and I am seeing results!

The older series, “Bodies in Motion,” is more focused on aerobics and the newer series, “Ultimate Body Sculpt,” is focused more on strength training. Both are equally tough. I probably like the Ultimate Body Sculpt more, but that’s only because I’m uncoordinated and sometimes can’t keep up with Gilad’s swift workout routine :). What’s also great for a broke bride like myself- he’s free. Everyday on Fit TV he has at least three different episodes on. Click here for his TV Schedule.

Are any of you trusting Gilad with your bodies or working out to a TV program?

I use Winsor Pilates and the sculpting circle and I definately see a change. It’s not terribly hard to do, but it feels good.

I like Yoga for Dummies and Pilates for Dummies, and was using them successfully until I fell of the mat (figuratively, of course). I’m thinking it’s about time I climb back on and give it another try. They each have a beginner and an intermediate level routine.

My other favorite cheap workout is taking our Newfoundland for daily walks in the nature preserve near our house.

I’m totally trusting Gilad with my body! And it really does work! I too prefer total body sculpt. There are less LA gears and grotesquely high cut body leotards, but i think that the weight training gives me better results. I felt a little dorky at first, but now I’m totally into it. And I love how he always tells us that “he obliges” Some of the All Star Workouts on FitTV are really good too. I DVR a bunch of stuff then I have many choices!

I watch bodies in motion almost every week day. Yes I trust him with my body!! He has been on the air forever I used to watch him years ago. If you watch him on fitv also catch the belly dancing show called “Shimmy”. It works out your tummy like crazy!! It’s great to know I am not the only gilad fan!!

@Vic004: I’ve tried Shimmy once but definitely want to try it again. My neighbors must think I’m crazy when they look through my windows :)
