R-Rated Bachelorette Decor

July 8th, 2008 @ 11:32 am by Mrs. Candy Corn

No peeking Erin (just in case you’re secretly a Weddingbee lurker)!

Two of our closest friends and members of our wedding party, Dan & Erin, will be getting married just 19 days after us, on Halloween. Mr. CC and I met Erin and Dan in college and lived with them during our senior year, which was one of the best years of my life thus far! We can’t wait for them to be in our wedding and vice versa! It’s been really nice being able to go through the phases of planning together, and we’re even going to be going on our honeymoons to Italy at the same time in late May/early June and plan to meet up for at least a day somewhere. Yesterday I had dinner with Erin’s bridesmaids and we discussed ideas for her bridal shower and surprise bachelorette party.

I’m in charge of creating Bridal Bingo, preferably pin-up girl related since that’s the theme of the shower. I’ve never played Bridal Bingo before, but I was told to just create blank bingo cards with the “freebie” spot in the middle, which sounds pretty darn easy. For the bachelorette party, my friend and I are in charge of rounding up all of the peenie-related decor and accessories. I am told that the groom has connections with a fellow who makes ice luges that are inspired by the male anatomy, which sounds uhm…charming? Since I don’t drink, I’ll be the designated photographer that evening (don’t worry, I won’t deprive you of the super fabulous shots).

Since Erin is a Halloween lover (thus the 10/31 wedding date), we’ll be taking her to Shocktoberfest before we surprise her with her “Til Death Do You Part”-themed party at home.

I’ve pretty much only browsed this site for R-rated bachelorette decorations and found it to be pretty…special. I’ll admit it, I’m totally excited to live vicariously through my good friend’s risque bachelorette party since Mr. CC and I are going down the low-key restaurant & bowling route!

So my question for the hive is, do you have any recommendations for where I can buy some fun R-rated bachelorette decorations that won’t break the bank?

I was really surprised with the selection at Iparty. I couldn’t get over it. I found stuff in the wedding section. :) Just check your prices though, it might be cheaper to look online than get everything there.

This doesn’t have so much to do with decor, but you can make a penis shaped cake which is really simple hehe. With chocolate sprinkles… :) haha.

Wow they have a huge selection of stuff - I love the slippers. You must get her a necklace with the little peckers on it! I got some stuff from ebay when one of my friends was getting married.

pink frosted cupcakes w/ 1/2 a merrichino cherry on top = boobies! (and coffee frosting and Hershey kisses if you want some other ethnicities inc. too)

Dollar stores sometimes have funny suggestive party favours.

But the best thing to do is find a slightly-seedy sex shop. There’s one here in Vancouver that has a whole section of penis and boob party favours.

OMG, you need to check out ebay. I did a search for “bachelorette party” and jackpot. There are so many things to choose from. They even have your bridal bingo game up there for $10. brand spankin’ new.

ALSO, for your “risque” party, I suggest buying the “pin the macho on the man” game. That will be hilarious. Its like pin the tail on the donkey, but you know… different.

haha. I wish I was planning a bachelorette party! It could be so much fun!
