Update: Downloadable Word template added here: schedule-of-events.doc
After all the comment love, I’ve been persuaded to do a quick tutorial on the business card size schedules I made for the Groom and his Groomsmen for my sister’s wedding. Truth be told, this was a super easy project. I spent a good hour on the girls’ schedules and I’m not even sure they looked at them but once. However, the guys were really loving their schedules, and let’s face it. They’re guys, they need a little a reminder of where to be, right?!
All of you non-Illustrator users can rejoice because I made the schedules in good ol’ Microsoft Word. I simply formatted the document to 0.2″ margins on every side, changed the orientation of the paper to landscape, and added three columns.
I was able to fit 6 schedules on 1 piece of 8.5″x11″ paper, so for many of you, one page is probably going to be enough, although you may want to give extra to the moms and dads. I printed them using our Canon Pixma IP4500 on sand colored cardstock that I bought from Paper and More. Now, the schedule was obviously longer than one business card size, so I used my handy dandy Martha Stewart bone folder to make two creases, so that I could fold them into a business card size.
For those that don’t know what a bone folder is, here’s what it looks like.

Once I got them all folded and neatly stacked, I tied some ribbon around them, because, you know, presentation is everything!

And since this was such an easy project, I’ll add one more to the mix.For Sister Coconut’s rehearsal bouquet (which I forgot to bring, doh!), I went to Michael’s and bought a bouquet holder. I took the ribbons and bows from her bridal shower and used a glue gun to put them on the bouquet holder. It would have made a wonderful bouquet had I remembered to bring it. Luckily though, that was my only major mistake of the weekend. Phew.

Love these business cards! And I’m going out to get a bone folder!
