I’d use it to remake my husband’s family cookbook into a keepsake. Years ago, his mom and aunt went through all his grandmother’s recipes, tried to decipher them and created a little hand-typed cookbook. I’ve made it a project of mine to reprint this into a pretty, hardbound book with pictures and all (using a Giada di Laurentis cookbook as my guide!) Still in the early stages of the project, but a gift certificate would help immensely!

We’re having a potluck wedding and I have asked everyone to bring the recipe for the dish they bring. The blurb book would be the perfect way to combine those recipes with the pictures. I’m going to make sure we get a great picture of every couple that comes and I’m also going to ask my photographer to get a shot of every dish. Then I can lay out the pages with couple/food/recipe. I’ve never heard of Blurb before, but that book is beautiful! My girlfriend and I just took our first vacation together as a couple. We went to Boston and NYC for a week and took pictures of EVERYTHING (we have like 4 pictures just of M&M World in Times Square.. why? it was so cool). Silly moments during our wedding blurb book!!

I have already started making a blurb book for my best friend. She is getting married and I wanted to make something really special for her. I have asked her close female family and friends to write a letter to her- wishing her well before her big day, giving her advice, or just letting her know what a great friend she is. Along with these letters, each person will also send me pictures of them with her. That way they can each have a page of their own in the blurb book, dedicated just from them. I am still getting letters and pictures in the mail, so my progress with the book is just getting started. I would love to put a gift certificate towards this special gift for my best friend.

I’m in dire need of a Blurb book! My photographer made a decent album of our wedding pictures but my mother is not in it at all! Not a single picture and She cried so much when she saw the album that my heart still aches thinking about it. My cousin and Uncle took beautiful photos of her and all of my family, way better than the pro’s pics, so I need to make an album just for mommy. That would make her cry, again…but happy tears.

I’d like to give my future husband a gift just for him… I’d make a boudoir book in the standard landscape, hardcover imagewrap. I absolutely LOVE the books you have on the website, this is the perfect wedding gift!

I DID make a blurb book… my best friend set me up with my man (she was convinced we were soul mates). We lived in different cities in different states, so she convinced the two of us to email. We did. Letter after letter… two, three, four, five times a day! Each one longer then the next. When we finally met, it was love at first site. And here we are today, 2 years later! For Christmas, I put together a Blurb book of all of our emails, since we had always joked that it was like we were writing a book. I included photos of us with each letter. The last page was his last email to me (after I had flown home from my visit). It’s too personal to share, but every time I read that book (and I do), it makes me tear up and fall in love all over again. Sounds cheesy, no? But, it’s true! And the look on his face was well worth the time I put into the book. I love Blurb! And I love that I have those letters captured that way.

Blurb looks amazing and I think that the hardcover imagewrap looks great for an album. I’m also thinking about doing an additional smaller album for all the pre-wedding planning that we did (including the showers and engagement session).

engagement /wedding, and parents’ gifts!

I want to use Blurb for parents gifts!

I would love to do a book of our lives up until now - starting with our first dates.

I’d make a cookbook of family recipes. I am one of 5 kids scattered across the west coast & we’re always calling my mom wondering “how she made THAT” or “how grandma made THIS.” It would be great to have the recipes all in one place, complete with pictures!
