After hauling my arse around the King of Prussia Mall (twice!!), I was incredibly close to just giving up and going down the aisle barefoot (despite my unfortunate Flintstone toes). I decided to stop by the Macy’s at the Plymouth Meeting Mall to give the wedding shoe shopping thing one more chance. Luckily, I stumbled upon Bandolino’s Elycee shoes, which fit most of the requirements (ivory, peep toe, kittenesque heel). I would’ve preferred a shoe with a closed back just because it looks a bit more formal to me, but these fit so comfortably I couldn’t resist them, especially since they were under $50. I frolicked around the clearance aisle to give them the skipping-while-wearing-mini-heels test while the Jamaican sales clerks looked at me like I was a total crazy person… which I have officially become since I have wasted a good chunk of the past two weeks trying to resolve the no-shoes situation.

Here they are on my feet, pardon the reddish ankle, I had been sitting on the computer chair all wackadoo. I wish I had an excuse for my unpolished, pudgy toes, but alas, I do not!
Thanks for your help with my past shoe polls! I decided to try to find a pair of shoes in person since I wasn’t having any luck ordering them online and guessing my shoe size. Although, I totally recommend endless.com for those of you who are pretty confident in your shoe size.
Has anyone else been putting way too much time into finding the right shoes?
