About candycorn

Just like Miss Cookie, I decided to browse Etsy for a much-needed wedding clutch, where I stumbled upon the shop Red Ruby Rose. I highly recommend ordering a custom clutch from the sweetheart of a seller, Rowena. She was incredibly kind and willing to work with my requests, plus she shipped it to me overseas at Superman speed!

It even came with a surprise matching change purse!

I’m so glad I have somewhere cute to stash my lip gloss now!

Is anyone else ordering anything custom made through Etsy?

I love your clutch! Isn’t Rowena fabulous?!

Mine came the other day. I wanted to rip it open as fast as I could, but I didn’t want to damage the meticulously wrapped package!

That’s one I looked at as well! I opted to go with a slightly less expensive seller though and mine won’t have the frame on it. I realized it’s not totally my style for the wedding. I am excited to see my finished one posted!
I’ve also gotten a pendant for each of my BM’s to suit their own personalities, so none of them will be wearing the same jewelry.

I’ve ordered the Paloma’s Nest ‘To Have and to Hold’ Ring Bowl, it’s simply precious. I’m also ordering a Mikiye silk flower hair pin, and a Kateleestar custom swarovski crystal monogrammed cake topper. The craftsmanship and the prices are amazing. I’m more than happy to be supporting Etsy crafters/artists. Long Live Etsy!

We ordered a custom guest book from lilyelle on etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5666669). She matched her fabric to the colors of our wedding and it came out beautifully! She worked with me throughout the entire process, ensuring she was giving me what I wanted. I highly recommend her!

I had jewelry custom designed for all the ladies: bracelets and earrings for the bridesmaids, bracelets for the flower girls and bracelets for our moms. The seller even threw in a custom designed bracelet for me. I loved all the jewelry and glad I went that route! I worked with the seller samanthaandlucy (her name is Abby) and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

So cute! I didn’t have a specific clutch for the wedding day and my things were just kind of everywhere! I did have a tote bag though because I got ready at the church, so it was full of misc. stuff!

Uh, everything!

Custom from Etsy: All dads/groom/groomsmen/usher ties, all bridesmaid necklaces, my (green!) hair piece.

Not custom from Etsy: usher gifts, both mom gifts, reader gift, my necklace and earrings, supplies to handmake bridesmaid clutches, and my card to give groom day-of.

That’s just about everything! I give as much money to those crafter as possible (as opposed to some megamart department store)!

I just bought the cutest clutch from a friend’s website:

http://www.basementbags.com

I bought it in black and white houndstooth with my monogram on it, and the inside is red silk. She does custom work and has or will find fabric to suit your needs. She is great to work with and I am so happy with all of my purchases!
