My favorite wedding movie is My Best Friend’s Wedding. It makes me laugh, makes me cry and a whole bunch of other emotions rolled into one movie. That is hard to find!
I absolutely love Father of the Bride–the original is sweet but the Steve Martin version is just the best. He’s so funny and the movie gives a great perspective from the parent’s point of view.
Martha Stewart Weddings is may favorite wedding book, and magazine. The magazine is consistently the best idea-generator, and comes with instructions, too.
I love Steel Magnolia’s. So sad.
“My color’s are Blush and Bashful”
My favorite wedding Magazine is Modern Bride. That magazine above all others has helped me alot with inspiration. The ideas I get from the magazine can be done by someone with a low budget or someone with a high budget. It’s a magazine for all brides. As for my favirite wedding website… Wedding Bee of course;)
Ok so if you haven’t seen Wedded Bliss with Jason Biggs you’re completely missing out!
I heart this very random, vegas wedding movie!!
I love 27 Dresses! I’m also a huge fan of the Offbeat Bride book, can’t recall the proper name right now.
Mag: Martha Stewart and The Bride and the Bloom.
Book: “Makeup Makeovers: Stunning Looks for the Entire Bridal Party.” Seriously - such a help for a makeup clueless person like myself!
Movie: Father of the Bride and Love Actually
my favorite magazine/book is the Real Simple Weddings magazine that I got a Crate & Barrel. Also, Martha Stewart Weddings magazine!
Love Father of the Bride.
I also like Modern Bride magaizine and Shopaholic Ties the Knot!
This is really cheezy, but I love the wedding scene in Sound of Music. However, I have great memories watching Father of the Bride with my Mom on the couch. She’s loves Franc!
Favorite “wedding” movie would have to be Meet the Parents! All the things that go wrong in that movie remind me (when I’m stressed) that it could be worse. And I love Ben Stiller!
When I heard Wedding Book, I first thought of the how-to books that many people get–it seems like many people are replying with novels. I love, love, love the Offbeat Bride. It’s amusing, liberating and useful!
I just read Mindy Weiss’ wedding book. It was very informative and had some good ideas.
I love Martha Stewart’s Weddings! I also love the movie Wedding Crashers.
Favorite magazine hands down is Martha Stewart Weddings. My favorite wedding movie is Father of the Bride with Steve Martin, and Love Actually.
Father of the Bride, hands down. So sweet and over-the-top, yet comes down to what family is all about.
The movie confetti is pretty funny. It’s a British mockumentary about couples trying to claim the title of “Most Original Wedding of the Year” It is very silly and entertaining.
I love My Best Friends Wedding–because I am marrying my best friend!
my favorite wedding book is theknot’s wedding checklist book. it simplifies the wedding process into an organized, easy-to-manage system!
My Big Fat Greek Wedding! Makes me laugh every time, and who doesn’t fear the big zit on their wedding day.
Big Fat Greek Wedding is great - love how it’s so real and captures all the family craziness surrounding a relationship!
My favorite wedding movie is The Philadelphia Story - I just love old movies.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding — I’m not Greek, but I can TOTALLY relate!
I love Father of the Bride with Steve Martin. That movie is funny, sweet and enjoyable.
I would say Martha Stewart Weddings for sure and My Big Fat Greek Wedding (Toula’s crazy family bears a striking resemblance to my own).
Martha Stewart Weddings. Her style is not only modern but classic at the same time.
I liked the wedding scene from Penelope. Though it is unconventional and they didn’t get married, she chose to say no and follow her heart and learned to love herself so she could be with her one true love. It lets you know it is okay, some brides go through the same thing, but in the end, you find your true love and you live happily ever after.
The Wedding Planner. Gotta love JLo from back in the day.
I am a huge Julia Roberts fan, and My Best Friend’s Wedding did not disappoint. My favorite scene is when they are at the rehearsal dinner, and Rupert Everett starts the sing-a-long to the Dionne Warwick song…Hmmm, maybe I can incorporate that somewhere in the wedding =)
My favorite wedding movie is the 1940 movie “The Philadelphia Story” with Katherine Hepburn, Carey Grant & Jummy Stewart. A close second would be the 1956 musical remake of the movie renamed “High Society”. This one stars another lineup of amazing actors: Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra & Grace Kelly. I watched them both with my grandmothers so they bring back memories and make me laugh at the same time. I love the scene where Tracy Lord pops her head into the ceremony space and C.K. Dexter Haven prompts her to tell them that there ahs been a change in plans.
My favorite magazine is “Martha Stewart Weddings” and my favorite book is “Real Simple Weddings”.
Definitely The Wedding Planner, with jLo. it was the first movie I watched that was wedding related and I’ve loved it ever since!
Father of the Bride, hands down! I still want to live in that house, and like to use a fake accent like their wedding planner, Franck, when talking about the design of my “cack” (cake, that is!)
Martha Stewart Weddings and Offbeat Bride… I’m always torn between a small event and eloping.
My favorite magazine is Martha Stewart Weddings - it’s such a good source of ideas!
I love 27 dresses. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), I haven’t been to any weddings with hideous bridesmaid dresses. I also love the part where they both agreed that the best part of the wedding is seeing the groom’s face when his bride is walking down the aisle!
I love “Elegant Bride” magazine, but for a very heartfelt wedding movie, “Son of the Bride” (from Argentina).
I LOVE Real Simple Weddings magazine. Because my man is Greek (and I am not), I have to go with My Big Fat Greek Wedding for my movie selection!
Movie(s): My Big Fat Greek Wedding (I’m Greek- and Greek weddings are really like that), and 27 Dresses
The day after we got engaged my FH and I were at the movie rental store and he sheepishly picked up Father of the Bride and held it way down by his knee.
We walked around the video store for a good 20 min before I acknowledged that he had something in his hand… what’s that? I asked. And he (in his prideful maniliness) said “oops, I grabbed the wrong one, I meant to get the one next to it..(long pause as I look at him skeptically)..Father of the Pride.. it’s about Lions…”
So, we both laughed and rented it, and thus, his favorite wedding movie (as I later found out) became mine, too.
I love so many wedding movies, but especially Father of the Bride (silly but I don’t care!) and 27 Dresses! Would love that gift certificate too!
I love the regional The Knot magazines - I liek seeing brides who got married in my city!
My favorite mag for my wedding is Real Simple:Weddings.
They have so much info and great planning tools, as well as beautiful weddings full of ideas!
Father of the Bride. Every time I see it I tear up, thinking of a father letting go of his daughter. Now that it’s my turn, I tear up every time I think of that movie! (especially the scene where they are shooting baskets the night before the wedding)
My favorite wedding movie (though I see I am not alone in this!) is Father of the Bride. I always, always cry.
My Best Friend’s wedding, hands down. Not only is it a great movie, but a great soundtrack as well!
Oh dear… well, Martha is my favorite as far as magazines go for sure… she might not be my favorite person, but her staff is amazing! Kudos to them! Movie though is, again, Father of the Bride (cmon, can I get a collective “awww…”?
I think my favorite wedding movie was 27 dresses. The dresses in that movie were hilarious.
One of my favorite movies, Steel Magnolias, has some of the best wedding scenes! I also love the book “Shop-a-holic Ties the Knot!” by Sophie Kinsella. So fun!
Father of the Bride for sure!! The others are great too! I loved wedding movies long before I was ever planning mine!!
right now, i live by the knot’s book of wedding lists! it is so simple and easy to use. its the only wedding book i bought!
i have to agree with Father of the Bride as not only my favorite wedding movie but favorite movie of all time. I’ve had a few “Father of the Bride” moments myself recently. ![]()
A wedding doesn’t actually take place in The Family Stone, but there’s such a great amount of love in that movie that it’s what I think about when I think of weddings: many very different people coming together as family and loving each other.
I love love wedding movies. I enjoyed watching 27 dresses, My Best Friend’s Wedding, The Wedding Date, My Big Fat Greek Wedding…. just to name a few
Hands down, The Wedding Singer is my favorite wedding movie. Love me some Adam Sandler!
Khris’s DIY Bride book has been invaluable to me.
And, um, are there any other wedding magazines besides Martha’s??? ![]()
Martha Stewart Weddings. The ideas in the magazine are very accessible, and very do-able - even for someone (me!) who doesn’t necessarily consider themselves very crafty. There are a lot of great ideas in there that I can try to replicate, or use as a springboard to come up with my own!
steel Magnolias. While it’s not technically a wedding movie, there is a wedding in it, and it is one of the best movies ever made.
Wedding Crashers is my favorite new movie or Father of the Bride with Steve Martin is my favorite older movie.
Father of the Bride! I always loved the goregous tented reception, the wedding planner before they were cool, and the adorable getaway outfit Annie Banks wears! Plus who doesn’t cry when Steve Martin gives away his little girl?
pride and prejudice, the book and movie… heck any jane austen work. it’s not a jane austen novel unless it ends in a wedding ![]()
The Wedding Planner is great. So funny and cute and chock full of great ideas in some of my favorite places. ![]()
Hmmmm…let’s see “The Wedding Planner” with JLo and Matthew McConaughey…all those initials…FOB…MOH…;-)
Wedding Crashers was HILARIOUS!
Also, like everybody else…I love the Father of the Bride, the new and old one…with Spencer Tracy and Steve Martin, respectively.
Finally Martha Stewart Wedding Magazine is fun to read!
My favorite wedding book would be the Conscious Bride….honestly I have just about lost it a few times and this book has brought me back to reality. No I am not alone and yes what I am feeling is 100% normal. It also has let me shed some light on things I never would have connected to the wedding.
If we are talking about nonserious stuff, then Father of the Bride is the best wedding movie. I could watch it over and over again. Love it!
My absolutely favorite wedding magazine is Real Simple Weddings.
I love the regular Real Simple magazine, so the wedding version is just perfect for me!!
I love the Wedding Singer - “oh it would be so nice to grow old with you. I wanna grow old with you”… awwwwwwwwww.
Father of the Bride and the Wedding Planner! Hard to pick just one!
A walk to remember. I have read the book and saw the movie. The movie seems to be much better made than the book. I couldn’t stop the tear gate in either case!
I’m a huge fan of “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”. Although I’m not Greek, but Taiwanese… there are definitely moments where I go, “Oh My God, that’s just like my crazy family!”
I LOVE my big fat freek wedding. I’m not greek, but everyone knows about embarrassing families and traditions!
Fave wedding movie is Corpse Bride
I’m serious though, I love Johnny!
martha stewart’s got it covered for book / magazine! ![]()
My favorite is “The Best Man” with Taye Diggs, Nia Long and Sanaa Lathan. It reminds me of the relationship that I have with my friend. Well, erm, minus the cheating. ![]()
My favorite wedding movie is “The Wedding Singer”. Sometimes good guys don’t finish last!
Martha Stewart’s my girl! Gotta love what Darcy does with the magazine
I LOVE Martha Stewart Weddings. Not only are her pictures and stories inspirational, they are unbelievably practical. Sure you may not be able to afford every lovely idea, but so many of her tips and inspirations lead to fantastic DIY ideas! THanks Martha and Darcy!
right now would have to be Monster in Law. . . a bit too true to real life
My favorite wedding movie is: Father of the Bride (with Steve Martin). I have watched it so many times! And I boo hoo every time because Steve Martin reminds me so much of my own dad.
I also love Sixteen Candles which is not a wedding movie but has a wedding in it that is pretty funny! And lets not forget the SATC wedding as well that was amazing, right?!?!?
Thanks for the chance!
My Best Friend’s Wedding is my favorite! Now that I am engaged I would never want my FI’s best friend to steal him away, but how you can not root for Julia Roberts. Great movie plus it was filmed in the next town to me!
Though not a total wedding movie, I love Love Actually- the scene with Keira Knightley walking down the aisle…. loooooves it.
I still love the Father of the Bride movie…Steve Martin’s narrative on the wedding planning process is priceless. The grocery store scene (when the number of hot dogs and buns in the packages don’t match) is hilarious!
Bridal Bargains by Denise and Alan Fields!!! It totally helped me figure out how to get the best deal! Designer Wedding dresses for $150!!!
Oh - and my favorite wedding movie is definitely Wedding Planner!!!! I knew after that movie that I would love planning my wedding - and it’s been great thus far!!
Runaway Bride! I just love Julia Roberts… plus it’s fun to watch when planning a wedding since you get to see 4 completely different weddings, dresses, etc… but don’t worry, I don’t plan on being a runaway bride ![]()
“My Best Friends Wedding” Rupert Everertt singing, “I say a little prayer for you” is classic.
My second choice is “Shakespeare in Love” because even though true love and hope prevail in the end.
I love The Wedding Singer- the songs he sings to Julia Gulia in the airplane is so endearing!
Wedding movie: Father of the Bride
Wedding magazine: Real Simple- Wedding edition
Martha Stewart Weddings is my favorite magazine! It is full of inspiration and ideas for DIY projects…not that I need more of those.
I love “It Had to Be You” with Ginger Rogers! So stylish.
i liked wedding crashers, although i don’t know if it’s considered a wedding movie…
The Princess Bride, of course. A great way to remember that even true love shouldn’t be taken too seriously.
Movie: My Best Friend’s Wedding. I especially liked the singing at the rehearsal dinner.
I love Real Simple Weddings and Martha is always great. As for movies, I adore My Best Friends Wedding; oh, an like 128 Princess Bride is a classic!!
I really really liked Meet the Parents. Everything goes just so ridiculously wrong, but works out all right in the end. Plus, it was so cute that he was going to get her schoolkids to do the proposal with him!
Down with Love! Not a “wedding” movie per se, but a movie about falling in love despite yourself!
Favorite magazine is definitely Martha Stewart Weddings — they have so many good ideas for decorations and such, and it’s just so pretty to flip through!
Favorite book (I’d consider it a book and not a magazine) would be Real Simple Weddings — lots of good and practical advice in there.
I loved the Wedding Planner because (don’t laugh) she had the nicest coats!
For a movie, I would have to pick “Four Weddings and a Funeral.” And can I include a forum, instead of a mag? I love the forums at Indiebride. ![]()
I just got a copy of “The best wedding reception… ever!”. Its actually a great book that has tons of ideas and points for consideration for those who take on most of the planning aspects of the wedding reception. Thanks for the opportunity!
Father of the Bride! Steve Martin is the best, Naafy suit and all!
I would have to say The Wedding Planner because it reminds me that at the end of the day, it’s not all the meticulous hours of planning and details that are important, but the person at the other end of the aisle. And JLo is super cute in that movie!
My fave is When Harry Met Sally. Though not strictly a wedding movie, there are several weddings in it, including the important one at the end! It is also special to my fiancee and I because we were friends for 5 years before starting to date, and we both adored the movie and watched it over and over again even while we were just friends. It is completely “our movie”!
I love Father of the Bride. When I watch it with my parents, we all start crying together!
my favorite wedding movie has to be “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” I love the close knit family it reminds me of my own crazy family and how much I value my South-Asian culture no matter how nuts in drives me sometimes!!
My favorite wedding movie is Father of the Bride. I always thought it was funny and cute but now that I’m engaged, I find it endearing and sweet. I can truly relate (as I’m sure all of you can too) to ALL of the emotions in that movie from excitement to shock (at wedding costs!) to happiness.
My favorite wedding movie is Father of the Bride.
It’s also my dad’s favorite movie ![]()
Father of the Bride (Steve Martin version). I can watch it over and over… and over… and over. I will never tire of it. ![]()
wedding crashers!!
its got humor and 2 love stories mixed up in it. i can always watch it over and over with my fiance ![]()
My favorite wedding mag: “The Bride and Bloom”, hands down!
I recently saw 27 Dresses, and even though it’s by no means a classic, I’d say that tops my list of favorite wedding movies right now. As I’m planning my own wedding, it’s nice to see a story that emphasizes how important love is to a wedding. Even if your wedding looks beautiful, and all the perfect details are there, if you’re not in love with the person you’re marrying, your relationship won’t last. (And, James Marsden is hot.)
The Wedding Singer, especially the scene where they try on dresses. Also, I second the vote for Philadelphia Story.
My favorite planner is the Real Simple Weddings.
Bridezillas! Helps you remember to not take it all too seriously…
I’m a big fan of Love, Actually. The wedding at the start was fantastic, and it makes me want to set up something spontaneous and awesome for my own wedding.
I really love the music in Runaway Bride. Plus, we get to see 4 really beautiful dresses. ![]()
Father of the Bride! If my parents didnt have such a hilly backyard, I’d totally be doing it Father of the Bride style!
I love Father of the Bride and I’ve seen it so many times. Steve Martin always makes me laugh.
“The Girls Guide to Getting Hitched”
I got this about a year into our engagement (we’re now on our third:-)), and two years after moving in with him. It was not only a great resource for dealing with all the crap-ola I encountered when merging my entire life with another, it has also been a great resource for the emotions I am experiencing while finally arranging the marriage. You would think after living together and being engaged for so many years that the wedding wouldn’t change much, but this book really made it clear why my emotions and irrationalities have been where they are.
“Wedding Chic” — A close friend sent me this book soon after our engagement. The author breaks down each of the main parts of planning into chapters and shares ideas of how to make it more cost-effective, yet still chic. As a bride on a budget with expensive taste, this book has proven very valuable. I also like that the author shares her own experiences in the planning process. Definitely a great gift for brides-to-be, and an invaluable resource!
I finally saw 27 Dresses and loved it. Martha Stewart Weddings is the ultimate resource, just chockers full of ideas, inspiration, and planning help.
I’m not entering because I won the $50 Beau Coup gc awhile back but I wanted to say that I was impressed with them! I ordered personalized napkins, customer service was great, my order arrived earlier than expected, and the napkins look awesome. ![]()
sweet home alabama! such a fun movie and i never get tired of watching it ![]()
My favorite wedding book is actually more of a book about marriage and the status of being a wife. The title is The Meaning of Wife. It’s a great study of how women’s behaviors and emotions change once they become a wife and how the outward world views wives differently than singletons or husbands.
I’ve got two favorite movies…The Wedding Planner with Jennifer Lopez and Sweet Home Alabama with Reese Witherspoon. Love ‘em!
My favorite wedding movie is the Lifetime movie, “I Do (But I Don’t).” It is cheesy, but I love it.
I am torn between 2 wedding movies. “7 Brides for 7 Brothers” is a classic musical and it was the musical my fiance and I worked on together in high school. My favorite “regular” movie is Love Actually. A real-life look at love.
Love Actually is my all time favorite movie!! and gotta love Martha Stewart wedding magazine and Cermony magazine!
I loved “One Perfect Day: The selling of the American Wedding” it really made me think about whats important and how our weddings reflect our society.
I’m probably about the fiftieth Father of the Bride vote, but what a great movie!!
I am reading “Something Borrowed” that Mrs. Jasmine blogged about. So far it is pretty good.
My favorite wedding move is My Big Fat Greek Wedding…the best movie ever!
favorite wedding book would be Preston Bailey’s 2 books on the weddings that he’s done. It’s amazing what’s he done with flowers!
I love Martha Stewart Weddings. She has tons of super cute ideas that are DIY-able. Perfect for the budget-restricted bride!
Sex and the City! I loved Carrie and Big’s Library Venue.
my favorite movie has to be “my best friend’s wedding” but i also love “murial’s wedding” and “father of the bride!”
After seeing the remake of Father of the Bride with Steve Martin, I have always thought the idea of waking up to a snowy wedding day was so romantic. I’m not counting on any snow for my upcoming March wedding in Florida, but I still love Father of the Bride. I’ll watch it at home, with my family, the night before my wedding.
My favorite movie is The Wedding Singer! My FI and I watched it on our first date!
I absolutely love the book “A More Perfect Union: How I Survived The Best Day of My Life.” Every bride-to-be should read this!
I love the movie the Wedding Planner! The way J Lo is able to keep her calm during every moment makes me want to be like her and pray that I can have a wedding that will go as smooth as the ones she coordinates. It’s fun, girly and elegant!
I was given the book, “Altared” edited by Collen Curran, shortly after I was engaged. I loved reading all the short stories and anecdotes of brides-to-be and all the newly married women.
The best wedding book I’ve found is “Bridal Bargains.” I love that they get into nitty-gritty details like the quality of different bridesmaids dress designers (i.e. rating their fabrics, craftsmanship, etc). The book offers tips that I found to be different/better than the run of the mill wedding tips.
Love Actually– I know it is minimal– but I would love to have a videographer like the one shooting that fake wedding! And not to mention the soundtrack is awesome!
My favorite wedding magazine would be Martha Stewarts! It is filled with wonderful ideas!
Martha Stewart of course and Meet the Parents, my fiance can’t even sit through the movie because he feels so bad for the guy but I love it!
Does the Birdcage count? I love love love that movie, it makes me giggle constantly. Though there isn’t a true wedding, it’s wedding planning!
Otherwise, I love all things Martha, especially her very definitive Martha Stewart Weddings book. I bought it years before I got engaged. Or her wedding cake book is a close second!
I can’t help but love the color palettes and cakes in Martha Stewart’s wedding mag.
I love the original Father of the Bride and I get weak in the knees for MS Weddings
It’s not really a wedding movie but there is a brief wedding scene in “13 Going on 30″ and I suppose it’s just that entire backyard family vibe that gets me!
Book: The Princess Bride–laugh out loud reading, and the movie captured it all.

My fave wedding movie is Father of the Bride. But another movie with weddings in it would be Spaceballs! ![]()
“The Wedding Planner” movie with J-Lo…until I read the other comments and thought of “Father of the Bride” and “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”…also fabulous movies!
“The Wedding Planner” movie with J-Lo…until I read the other comments and thought of “Father of the Bride” and “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”…also fabulous movies!
i picked up a town and country wedding magazine once and was very impressed! love that one…and i always enjoy inside weddings mag.
“Confetti”! Ah, Brit humor. It took me a while to get over the nekkidness, but the scene where they actually put the weddings on makes me “awwww” a lot.
definitely father of the bride. i’m going to watch it again with my dad before i get married next month!
My best friend’s wedding.. I have so many guy friends that I adore but aren’t interested in romantically, but would hate to “lose” them to another girl! ![]()
Fully the Princess Bride…. You can’t beat “Mawage…” and “wuv, Twu wuv”… Granted the wedding was never official, but I’ve even considered walking down the aisle to the music from the movie.
My favorite wedding movie is “While You Were Sleeping.” It’s such a feel good movie. ![]()
My favorite wedding book is Shopaholic Ties The Knot because I think I’m her long lost sister or something. Everything all of a sudden becomes necessary and my thought process mirrors hers so much!
My current favorite wedding book is “Off-Beat Bride”. It’s been a great resource and has helped me to remember to think outside the box about different ideas for the wedding. It’s been good to realize that I’m not a total freak for not wanting to do things the “same old way”! What a great find!
“The Wedding” by Nicholas Sparks. . . you’ll cry. . . oh how you will cry
Steel Magnolias–it isn’t an “all-wedding” movie, but I love all the wedding scenes in it, especially the armadillo groom’s cake.
I LOVE wedding movies! My Best Friend’s Wedding, Wedding Crashers, Sweet Home Alabama, The Wedding Date, 27 Dresses, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
I love the Wedding Planner movie - with Jennifer Lopez….and it doesn’t hurt that Matt McHaunehey was in it too;)
Of course - I love Martha - that goes without saying.
For a good laugh - the book, “Diary of a Mad Bride” will rock your socks!
Mag: I subscribe to a bunch, but my favorite is Martha Stewart Weddings. I love the aesthetic and I also love the DIY that it shares.
Book: I love Bridal Bargains. They really tell you how it is!!! It’s by far the most practical of the many other books I have.
“The Philadelphia Story” is one of my all-time favorite films and it revolves around a wedding.
Okay, so I know its supposed to be for the groom - but I loved Well-Groomed. Sooo funny.
My favorite wedding movie without a doubt is “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”. Makes me bust at the seems laughing everytime I watch it. A must see for anyone who has a big family & is planning a wedding, because at this point it’s not your wedding, it becomes their wedding.
great wedding book given to me when I got engaged: “A More Perfect Union” - it’s a memoir of a bride trying not to get caught up in the whole circus of planning a wedding. Great Quick Read!
“When Harry Met Sally”
I know it isn’t a “wedding” movie but I loved all the videos of the married couples.
I LOVE InStyle Weddings. ![]()
I know it’s a popular one, but definitely Father of the Bride. When Steve Martin is in jail and has even told the prison guard the cost of his daughter’s wedding — I lose it every time!
Movie: My best friend’s wedding!
Magazine: Martha Stewart Weddings!
I would love to be the winner since there are so many beautiful things that I could choose from… pick me please!
[...] contests: Paloma’s Nest Custom Heirloom Bowl, Readers’ Favorite Polyvore/Minted Board, Beau-Coup $75 Gift Certificate, and the Springcart Jewelry [...]

OH I love me a good laugh, so it’s a tie between 27 Dresses and Wedding Crashers. ![]()
Father of The Bride!! I am getting married at my parent’s home in September and I think my pop’s is going to go a bit nuts, then get all sentimental when it matters! Love the movie! (and love him!!)
My favorite wedding movie is Runaway Bride. Not because I am planning but I just love the cheesy ending!
I just bought a book called “Simple Stunning Weddings” and it has been amazing for someone just starting their wedding planning (like myself)!
I am 100% hooked (full-blown addicted) to Martha Stewart Weddings. I don’t think I could plan a wedding without Martha being involved! My favorite issue so far was Winter 2006–load of good, basic wedding info and ideas! ![]()
My favorite wedding magazine is Martha! I love how she has DIY ideas and fun segments, like in her most recent issue “The Anatomy of an Invitation.” Her color schemes are always great, and I can literally hear her reciting what I read. I <3 Martha ![]()
I agree that my favorite magazine is MS Weddings!
There are so many good wedding movies, it’s difficult to choose only one.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding! I saw it over and over again and being puertorican, I’m far from greek.
My favorite book is a tie between ‘Wedding Chic’ by Nina Wildorf - all of these cost cutting tips and ideas, great breakdown on how to estimate alcohol, etc. and ‘Your Vintage Wedding’ by Nancy Eaton.
My favorite wedding movie is Sense and Sensibility - there is one wedding in it and the whole movie is about love and marriage. One of our readings is from the movie/book - Shakespeare’s sonnet 116.
Movie: Steel Magnolias
Etiquette: Ms. Post is never wrong (or rude, for that matter)
All other things wedding: MS - There’s a lot to love about Martha
The wedding by nicolas sparks is my all favorite wedding related book.I just love how much one man would do to rekindle love.
I’ve always loved my best friend’s wedding. I’ve watched that movie dozens of times!
Hmm- wedding crashers (though I hope it doesn’t happen
) and for a magazine MS Wedding- so cute!
I really enjoyed 27 Dresses (even if the bride isn’t the greatest)…it was hilarious!
Without a doubt Martha Stewart Wedding mag - so fresh and so clean ![]()
I love Father of the Bride part II. I can watch it anywhere anytime..I love the over the top 90’s wedding dress!
I gotta agree with most and say Father of the Bride — the one with Steve Martin. I loved every part of it…well except for the part how she never saw her dad during the reception. I still just don’t get how that could happen!
