We’re spending a week in St. Lucia! It’s close enough that we wouldn’t be spending the majority of our time traveling, but it’s still such a great getaway. That bag is just adorable!

Aspen! Ten days, skiing and shopping and fantastic food and lounging around in the hot tub and in front of the fireplace.
I just wanted to share where we’re going, but don’t really want to win the bag! Lol!
FH and I are having a two part honeymoon in Himalayan India where our wedding is also taking place. Our wedding night will be spent in a hotel in the Darjeeling Tea District, not far from my FH’s hometown, and then we’ll be moving to a resort in Gangtok, Sikkim. Sikkim is India’s least populated state, tucked up near Tibet, and has blessed with the world’s third highest mountain peak, crystal lakes, whitewater rapids, hot springs, beautiful flowers, rare animals like the red panda, and a very unique cultural scene.
While in Gangtok, we’ll be spending a lot of time out with nature, hunting for treasures in busy market places, visiting temples and shrines, and, [big grin] making the most of our beautiful suite. We’re staying with the Elgin Hotels ( http://www.elginhotels.com ), which are known for being beautiful heritage resorts in estates left over from the time of the British Raj. Since FH is fluent in the local language, but nietherof us have ever been to Sikkim before, I’m sure we’re going to have a very romantic and adventurous honeymoon!
We’re still debating between Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Wherever it is, we’ll be relaxing on the beach!

we’re having a mini-moon between our western ceremony & reception on the first Sunday, and our Chinese reception on the second Sunday. My fiance has booked a great resort in Miami, complete with Jacuzzi in our room Can’t wait! We might do a longer honeymoon to Europe next year.

Well, although everyone thinks I am crazy, this is what our honeymoon will be (and it’s all MY idea!):
FI and I met 7 years ago where he introduced me to his love of the NBA. He (or I!) had no idea just how hooked I would get! Our team is the Dallas Mavericks, because FI lived there for 20 years. We get the League Pass every year so that we don’t miss a game. Sooooooo………what I want for our honeymoon is a week in Dallas, with tickets to whatever home games are being played that week! (The schedule isn’t out yet) I’m hoping for at least a 3 game stretch, but I’ll settle for 2. That and a luxury hotel for the week and I’m a happy bride! The bag would be PERFECT for carrying around dowtown Dallas. Maybe I’ll even get Dirk or Jet or Cuban to sign it!!!
New Zealand and Fiji!
We’re off to Bali soon, hooray! That bag would make a nice addition!

We are going to Cancun, Mexico for our honeymoon. Will be staying at the Royal Sands Resort and Spa.
We’re going to Fiji. My fiance shot a commercial for Fiji water this past year and he was so impressed, with the people (so friendly and welcoming), the company (which has done wonders for the island, hiring all native employees and paying them well and great working conditions - making sure the entire country has available drinking water, using sustainable water refining techniques and having a carbon-neutral processing plant.)
Fiance was invited back by the village leader whi showed him around and we are so excited to go!
We’re doing a New England states roadtrip in the fall. Very cute bag!
We are planning two! A quick mini-moon to Maine and then we hope to go tropical and lovely sometime during the winter.

We’re going to South Africa in December…I’ll need some sort of beach bag and I’m sure I won’t be able to find one in Seattle before I leave!!
Unfortunately, we are renovating our kitchen right before our wedding, so we are walking into our kitchen for our honeymoon. We will, however, be saving to go to on a 15 day tour of China in March 2009. Not beach bag worthy, but we do plan to do a 3-day beach weekend right after our wedding!

we are doing a “Tour of NY” Niagara (ok, we snuck Ontario in there too), Cooperstown for the Baseball lovin’ boy, Howe Caverns, his hometown of Middletown, and NYC. See, we are getting married in my hometown in the suburbs of chicago (we live in south florida) so hitting HIS hometown for the honeymoon seemed romantic We are super excited

We are taking a mini-moon to Carmel, CA for days and 2 nights. We have not been since Mr. Sunflower took me there for my 18th birthday. We are staying at beautiful B&B over looking the ocean. We booked a honeymoon package that includes breakfast in bed both mornings, a massage and dinner for one night at a restaurant of our choosing. I can not wait!!

When I was younger I visited distant relatives in Oaxaca, Mexico. It was the most beautiful place I had ever visited. There are pyramids nearby, a wonderful Indian culture, fantastic artists and their crafts, and exotic foods. We stopped in Huatulco Beach about 30 minutes from Oaxaca and I will never forget how untouched and beautiful it was. We are going to the Secrets resort in Huatulco in December when it reopens. It is under remodel. Our wedding is October, but I think it will be well worth the wait. I hope that I have a cute honeymoon bag to take along!
