Do readers have to wait until a call for apps, or can anyone apply at any time? (Given, of course, that the weddings not eons away, like mine is now…)

they can apply at any time as long as they’re not more than 7 months out from their wedding.

Hey Mrs. Bee,

Whatever happened to Miss Miss Chickadee? Well I guess she’s a Mrs. now, but we haven’t heard from her in quite a while!

wow…most. amazing. video. ever. AND to top it off, it is for a cause I am really concerned about.

I am going to go outside to our garden right now and show the honey bees out there this video for inspiration to not give up the fight.

LOVING that video! I nearly spit out my coffee just now. HILARIOUS!

Uhm, anyone know what we can do about that? Haagen Daas just told me about all the lovely things that are threatened by the loss of our buzzy friends - but not how to help out! Or perhaps I didn’t read it thoroughly! Anyone?

@Miss Pomegranate: Poms…one thing you can do to help the honey bee is to seek out and purchase your veggies and fruit organically and (most importantly) locally. Another way is to garden. Just like recycling…every bit will help.

@Mrs. Corn: Ooh! I’m a CSA member - I love my local veggies! However, my gardening might heighten the problems with the bees - I have a black thumb of death! Thanks for the tips!
