In my Philadelphia abode, I create mixed media artwork and one-of-a-kind home accessories in the company of my farmer-tanned husband, our Westiepoo (Betty White), our three rabbits (Cadbury, Willie Nelson and Applesauce) and our two frisky chinchillas (Ethel Funk and Maude).
About candycorn

Before my Weddingbee obsession, I didn’t even think sending out rehearsal dinner invitations was necessary (which, I’ll admit, it probably isn’t), but now I’ll take any excuse I can get to spend a night being crafty and coming up with small wedding-related projects to keep me distracted from the recent crapfest we’ve been dealing with since Mr. Candy Corn’s car accident.  I decided to go with tea-length invitations, which we will print and put on chocolate brown cardstock with a bit of the border showing.

These babies will be sent out in #10 open end moss envelopes from Paper Source:

Is anyone else DIYing rehearsal dinner invites, or are you just letting your guests know by word of mouth?

Sooooooo pretty! I wish we could do something like this - alas my controlling mother in law has taken over planning the rehearsal dinner, and of course she’s purchased the ugliest invites. Alas.

You crafty little candy corn! I love them!

We didn’t do rehearsal dinner invites, per se, because the invite was included in the wedding invite.

hey there miss candy corn-

i’m such a fan of your fantastic skills… these invites are awesome and very creative. :)

i actually have a question for you about that dresser you posted about the other day - how did you get the fabric to adhere to the wood? it turned out amazing and you have inspired me to embark on a similar project.

kudos to you for all your creativity and cuteness,
sarah

I designed a similar size invite that I am hoping my FMIL will approve for our rehearsal/groom’s dinner. I’m planning to order them through Vista Print, and have directions printed on the back.
