About Mrs. Green Tea

When my future niece first realized there will be a wedding for the mister and I, her eyes lit up and she immediately asked me, “Aunt GT, do I get to be the… the… the…” as she motions the taking out of imaginary flower petals and dropping them onto the ground.

“The Flower Girl?” I helped.

“YEAH!” she exclaimed.

“Of course, honey.” I kissed her on the forehead.

She let out a grateful little sigh and said to herself as she leaned back in her chair, “It’s like… my dream come true…”

Here she is in her FG dress!

Check out the hair stick she has on for the photo-op, it cracks me up:

She is very much a ‘princess,’ and I was worried that she would not love the Chinese dress since it’s not of the poofy Disney princess variety she is used to. Fortunately, she feels like a princess in any dress and she loves this one! Phew…

Here is the Barbie she is getting as a gift from us:source

And here is my Chinese dress (same fabric as the FG’s dress):

Despite my total camera shyness, I super look forward to posing with her for pictures in our matching dresses!

Does your flower girl’s dress mimic your bridal gown?

That dress is SO much cooler than a poofy Disney princess dress! :)

hmm..we are actually in the process of allocating flower girls. Apparently, the result of all my friends mating patterns are bratty males. Potentially, I could have an army of ring bearers. I’m digging chinese barbie though. If you pose for pics with your adorable flower girl, please pose exactly like barbie, hands flared out an all.

My flower girl (FI’s 4-year-old sister) is going to be decked-out in pink while everyone else is in green. She’s going through a stage (when we asked her if she wanted to be a flower girl, she said “NO!” but her mom thinks she might agree if she can wear pink). I decided I didn’t care if she didn’t match anyone else as long as she was happy.

That is so cute! “dream come true”! If FH’s sisters could afford to bring all their children across the country for our wedding, I would have an army of 7 or 8 flower girls, from age 3 to 9!

So so adorable, and remember - Mulan is technically a disney princess and wears similar patterns and styles! :)

We didn’t have a FG (no relatives close enough in age) but our ring bearer looked SO adorable in his little tux.
