Just a reminder that the NYC Weddingbee meetup is at 6pm tomorrow today! Come join bees and readers for drinks at PS450 (450 Park Ave bet 30th and 31st). We’ve reserved an area in the back, all the bees will have name tags, and I’ll be wearing a bright yellow dress so you can’t miss us.

Since some of you may not be familiar with our older generations of bees, I thought I’d tell you a little bit about them. Back when Weddingbee was much smaller and based in New York, I was fortunate enough to be able to hang out with all of these cool, talented, and super SMART ladies!
Mrs. Lily looks so young in person, I was shocked to find out she was older than I was! Her wedding pictures were so stunning, you have to check out all of them!
Mrs. Violet is a super talented crafty bee. Get a glimpse of her fabulous DIY projects here! My favorite project was definitely her DIY Altoid Tin favors.
Mrs. Grasshopper is a super sweet, down to earth Brooklyn bee. Read all about her hilarious adventures trying to get her wedding dress from a bridal shop that closed down without notice. And I love these temporary tattoos!
Mrs. Spider is a DIY bride and a firecracker! We always have a great time together. My favorite Spider post is this one where she expertly negotiates with two flower vendors. You can see how her sample centerpieces looked here, and what they finally looked like on her wedding day here.
Mrs. Ant had a destination wedding in Jamaica, and inspired Mrs. Lovebird to have a destination wedding in Cancun! Mrs. Caterpillar is one sharp and crafty bee who has a great sense of vintage style. Her wedding included many amazing diy paper crafts, the best of which were her awesome rock poster invitations!
Mrs. Daisy is hilarious! She hosted a NY Bee get together at her apartment and had us in stitches all night long. Her can’t miss post? White Castle burgers served on silver platters at the reception!

Wow, hard to believe that these bees are now considered the old-timers.. I started reading right before Mrs. Ladybug got married, and that doesn’t FEEL like that long ago.
