When I asked my cousin if she was going give out favors during the rehearsal dinner/tea ceremony, she looked at me and was like, “OMG, I need to give out favors for that too?!” Of course, I was like, “You don’t have to, but something would be nice!” She thought it was too much trouble but I came up with something and assured her it would be easy breezy.
I’m a big fan of these round tea bags and what better shape is there for a wedding? Like wedding rings, a circle is perfectly symmetrical and representative of the never-ending continuation of true love. In Chinese, a circle is also a symbol of harmony and the closeness of family.

My cousin bought these clear baggies from Michael’s which were a perfect fit.
I created this quick design using Adobe Illustrator and printed them on big sheets of Avery labels. We then punched each out with a big circle punch and used them to seal the baggies. On the night of the rehearsal dinner/tea ceremony, we put one on each plate and they were a big hit!
Do you plan to give out favors for any of your pre-wedding festivities?
These are adorable. It’s so nice to see crafting posts!
