On Saturday afternoon, I was whisked away by my mother and her friend, Barb, to my very own bridal tea party at Tres Jolie . It was a fabulous shower filled with tea, champagne, games, love, and last but not least presents!

All the lovely ladies in attendance!

What is a bridal tea without games?

First game: Tea Party Scramble!

Since Mr. Cookie and I are avid movie watchers, the second game was Wedding Movie Trivia.

A little blush champagne to accompany our tea!

Although there were no cucumber sandwiches, we were served these amazing turkey with brie and apricot preserve croissants. DELICIOUS! I am salivating just thinking about them. The scones, oh the scones were heavenly, especially with the Devonshire cream and blueberry preserves. Then our finger food was topped off with chocolate, cheese, and white cakes! Yummy!
Next up: present opening. I start you off with this photo — nice smiling Miss Cookie face…

Unbeknowst to me, the ladies were playing a little game on me while I was opening presents.
Let’s play: What will Miss Cookie exclaim on her wedding night?
” I already know what this is!”

” Aww, it matches the other one!”

Yes!! Yes!!! Oh Yes! Thank you! Score!
All the ladies were a riot, and I had a wonderful time at my tea party. I finish my post with my favorite present of the afternoon…

…a cookie press and decorating set!
What interesting games were played at your shower?
