Getting married in a tiny Montana town with only a saloon and mercantile has kept me on the lookout for subtle ways to introduce elements of the West/Old West into our wedding. So far I’ve got my boots and my cowboy hat, but I haven’t found many other Western accessories that aren’t complete overkill.
These garter flask holders by Juliette, however, are perfect…
I’m not sure where I first saw Juliette garters, but I lusted after them for some time before anteing up and buying one a few weeks ago. Mine will be my “something blue”:
They come in all varieties of color or custom designs both with and without 4 oz stainless flask.
Carrying a few ounces of whiskey could be a nice way to take a nip and calm the nerves before the ceremony. But if that’s not your cup of tea, you can ditch the flask and use the pouch to secret away your lip gloss, cell phone, money clip, or compact for easy access.
The garter is comfy and the flask is hardly noticeable, even when full. Think of the fun you could have with these things… and they make great matching gifts for the wedding party, too:
I certainly won’t be tossing this garter… can you imagine the embarrassing clunk it would make hitting someone in the head? I’ll have to find another, less nifty garter to give away.
Where did you ladies find your tossing garters?
