Wedding Weekend Timeline

August 13th, 2008 @ 10:27 am by Miss Candy Corn

Over the past few weeks I’ve spent my evenings working on our wedding timeline because organization is the one thing that makes me feel somewhat sane with all of the wedding chaos taking place.  I’m about to send this off to all of our vendors to have them finalize the times and make sure everything looks ok.

Anyway, I just wanted to share my work with the hive (the layout was heavily inspired by Ms. Pom’s awesome timeline). It turned out to be a whopping 15 pages! I’m just glad to have everything in one place instead of having to scroll through my inbox of over 300 wedding related e-mails.

Has anyone else created a ginormous wedding itinerary?

I love it! Might want to include a list of things that Mr. Candy Corn needn’t forget (there’s one for you, but not him, and in my experience, men don’t think that way and manage to only bring one sock, or white socks, or no shirt!).

I recently stayed at the Sofitel in Phili for a wedding and it’s probably my favorite hotel ever. You’ll never want to get out of bed - beware.

Thank you SO much for sharing. I’m planning my Philly wedding now and found this so helpful. How are you guys getting from the Sofitel to West Philly for the wedding/reception? Are you providing transportation for your guests at the hotel? Or just cabs?

@yogigal:
I’m so glad this could be of help! I think we’re just going to carpool and/or take cabs. We can’t really afford to arrange for transportation, unfortunately…it’s not too far from the museum so cabs will probably be the best bet.

Yuck. I’m at this phase too - the details. I need to write my “details package” on vacation next month - joy!

Yay! FI and family are staying at the Sofitel in Philly for our Sept 20th wedding. I’m so excited as we’re staying there on our wedding night! Thanks for the template, it’s great!

We still haven’t found a place to eat near the Sofitel that’s within walking distance. Something a lil upscale would be perfect, any suggestions brides?
