About Mrs. Espresso

We’re less than 50 days away from the wedding and we just booked our entertainment. Who’s been procrastinating? But in this instance, we had to wait in hopes of getting our top choice.

You see, back in June, I was researching entertainment and came across the musical awesomeness that is Mike and Brian. I emailed them immediately requesting a quote and their availability, but the price came out to be way over our budget. Insert frowning Espresso faces. I emailed them a couple times afterwards trying to figure out how we could cut the cost down and herein lies why we had to wait. Brian informed me that if I could wait a little over a month, and if nobody booked them for that date, he would perform at our wedding as a soloist and for a much cheaper price. So we waited, and waited, and waited. We wondered and prayed.

And a month and a half later, Brian emailed us back saying he’d be available to do our wedding! YAY! Insert jumping Espresso here.
And Brian hasn’t just agreed to do the live music (he does vocals, keyboard, and guitar). He will also be bringing his own DJ equipment and be emceeing for us for the entire 6 hours, for the amazing So Cal price of $600. Could I be any more happier?

Check out the sample video of Mike and Brian:

The style of music that Brian will play is exactly what we we’re looking for: low key, simple, and relaxing.

We’re so excited to have found them!

Was it difficult for you to find entertainment within your budget? How did you make it work?

That’s so exciting! When a vendor is willing to work with you like that, it shows you that he really cares about what he does and having your business. Congrats!

We got our band (8 peice) for $400 less than they had asked just by telling them the price was out of our budget.

By the way, their music sounds perfect for your wedding!

Wow, what a find!

We rather fell into our band - we weren’t looking for live music, but found a jazz trio that we really wanted. I had no idea what a band would cost, but it was only $700 for three hours. For us, it was definitely worth the money.
