Treats for the Hostess!

August 18th, 2008 @ 3:48 pm by Mrs. Coconut

Since I am the etiquette master, I made sure to bring some great gifts for the ladies who threw my bridal shower this weekend! On a side note, the bridal shower was amazing and I had the greatest time! I can’t wait to share pictures with you, once my sister downloads them!

I bought the girls some amazing body wash from Origins, some lip balm and foot petals from Dillard’s. Have you tried the foot petals?! Ohmigoodness, I love them!!! You should check them out, especially if you’re a frequent stiletto walker.

I wrapped all the goodies in tissue paper, and wrote them a thank you card.

Here is the box all green! I bought some white ribbon and some Martha Stewart gift tags from Michael’s. Aren’t these cute?

What did you get your bridal shower hostesses?

My, my! You are the hostess with the mostest. :)

(Sorry, had to go there)

And I totally second your comment about the Foot Petals.

AMAZING!

It made shoes that I loved and tolerated the pain a zillion times better to use. I also used your suggestion (a while back) on looking up a coupon code for the purchase and it totally worked! Thanks!

Super cute! I gave my shower hostesses umbrellas with their initials embroidered on them with a note that said: “I hope your next shower is as wonderful as mine was today!” Not the most original idea, but they loved it!

I gave my hostesses each a box of tea, a card I made, and either a candle or box of greeting cards. I wrapped it up in a pretty pink gift bag with chocolate and pink tissue paper, and a polka-dot ribbon. They were so pretty, if I do say so myself!

The foot petals are awesome. You hear about alot of things being “great” but foot petals really are. I use them in all my dress shoes and they save me hours of pain. I can enjoy the party.

Cute idea. I gave my two shower hostesses $120 gift certificates to 1154 Lill Studio to design their own handbags, after finding out about this great place on WeddingBee (thanks to Miss now Mrs. Tiramisu)!
