It was all because of Weddingbee that I caught the DIY bug. I must give it up to my fellow bees as they have countlessly inspired and motivated me to add a personal touch to as many wedding projects as time and my abilities allowed.
After seeing so many amazing photo table numbers on Weddingbee, such as those of Mrs. Emerald, Mrs. Lovebug, and Mrs. Tiramisu to name a few, and since I had so many amazing pictures from Scott Robert’s workshop, I tried my hand at making my own table numbers.
Don’t you love how DIY projects evolve as you do them? I actually ended up not using the ribbon and paper flowers because I thought it distracted from the images.
First, I bought 3 packages of Ikea’s 5×7 Clip frames that came 4 to a pack. I felt that the 5×7s were a good size. I spent the most time stressing over what to use as the numbers and went to Paper Presentation and found some iron-on numbers that kinda worked. I also picked up a box of mini Glue Dots since I couldn’t iron the numbers onto the photos. Then, I printed the images I wanted in 5×7 at my local Walgreens. The amazing images I used were taken by Chris Chen, Becky Carpenter, and Lucid Eyes. Then it was just the matter of glueing the numbers to a good spot on the picture.
