About candycorn

(Let’s Just Pretend that Mostesses is a Word, mmkay?)

Since our shower was hosted by my maid of honor, my mom (and dad) and Mr. Candy Corn’s mom, I set out to get them gifts that said “thank you for being such rockin’ chicks!”

First up was my mom, who received a set of blank note cards with pretty flower impressions and a candle that just seemed so “her.”

For my future-mother-in-law, I bought her a candle & plate set that I thought would really match the decor in their ocean-themed bathroom (sometimes bathrooms need love too!).

Last but not least, I gave the hostess with the mostess (Melanie, my maid of honor) a photo album in our wedding colors so she can keep her Kodak moments from the wedding in a safe spot. How cute is that bird card?! Oh, Target, I love you.

How did you say thank you to your wedding shower hostess?

I like the title of your post, especially since one of my favorite websites is actually hostesswiththemostess.com, so I guess at least “mostess” is a word, lol. Where did you get the first gift bag though - the kraft one with what looks like a spider mum on it? It would go perfect with my wedding style!

I love the gift ideas! Sometimes it can be so hard to think of great gift ideas for the wedding party.
