For those of you following the saga of my dress, you’ll remember that what was lost was found, and we questioned to V or not to V?
Well, all the drama has passed like clouds on a summer’s day. My dress is done, complete, finis! I went in for my third and final fitting (more of an approval than a fitting) on Monday and returned home with a car full of silky goodness…

That’s my dress with its new V back and adjusted straps. Soooo comfortable and silky! The photos above are relatively close to what my gown will look on our wedding day, with two critical differences:
- It will be pressed to take out the extra-wrinkliness
- It will be buttoned, adding an extra half inch to an inch of “cinch” around my torso
As you can see, my boobies are much better supported. I’ve had cups sewn into the front and I am wearing my Natural Bra, bought for cheap off of Graveyard Mall. Here, it’s just sitting in the cups, not actually stuck to my bewbs with tape:
And there are the earrings made by a local jeweler to match my necklace!
What do you think of my new headpiece? It’s an ivory velvet flower with grassy centre and pheasant feathers:

I still have my veil, and I am planning to wear it during the ceremony, either with the flower underneath, or without the flower, which I will add when I remove the veil for the reception.
So, this is a rough draft of my final wedding look. I just have to clean up the dress, put on makeup, and have my hair done. HOLY CRAP, I’M READY TO BE A BRIDE!!!
What do you think?
I love the V, good choice!
