I can’t go any farther without introducing you to our dog Maxwell. He’s 12-15 lbs (depending on the day, really and if he’s managed to fool the baby lock on our trash) of pure personality. Max is a very loving dog, and Champ and I are so lucky to have him… We love him so much we even had him in our engagement photos!
So when the wedding planning started, I thought about how Max could be involved. I know that many couples have their dogs as a part of the ceremony, but we’re getting married in a church, so that was a no-go. It’s cute, though!

These are also so cute, and the top hat makes me laugh! Max would be miserable!
We’ll see if Max makes an appearance. My guess is that I’ll just snuggle with him before I head off for the chapel! He’d be happier on the couch anyway!

Max is adorable!
We wanted to involve our Pom, but she is a little shy and doesn’t do well with large crowds.
There’s no way we could! We have 2 french bulldogs, Lola and Louis, and they love people so much, they’d stop at every person on the walk down the aisle.

I have seen people incorporate their pets as their table numbers, even dressed up in those funny outfits! My favorite was when the photos were printed in black and white on vellum paper so that a candle could light it up from behind. Cute dog!
I love you guys! CUTE CUTE CUTE post. I’m allergic to pretty much everything and so is Mr. Dumpling, so we dont have any furbabys. I was at a wedding once where the dog just roamed around and acted as a “greeter.” They dressed him up and everything. It was perfect since it was an outdoor wedding.
He’s soooo cute! What kind of dog is he? He’s adorable!

Max, you are too too cute! And Duncan appreciated the schnauzer tux pic- but mostly just the fact that we didn’t make him wear one! We would have invited him to the wedding, but we were too worried he might eat a flower girl.

Did you have your engagement shoot in the DC area? if so who did the photography I live in Fairfax and am trying to find someone local. Your photo looks great! Our dogs are St. Bernards I couldn’t imagine how to put them in our wedding!!
I’ve got a min pin named Maximus “Max” as well who is exactly as you described your little guy. Just a ball of energy and fun. I don’t know about you, but I never thought he would be as entertaining and perfectly spastic as he is.
The resort fi and I are getting married at doesn’t allow pets but if we could he’d be in it too.
