Mrs. Tiramisu's Picture
Mrs. Tiramisu, Annapolis, MD/Maine Age and Occupation: 26, Healthcare Fiance's Age and Occupation: 26, Project Manager/Real Estate Management grad student Engagement Date: May 15, 2007 Wedding Date: July, 2008 Blogging Since: March 4, 2008 Venue: Oceanfront lawn and tent About Me: I was born and raised in Maine, now living in Annapolis, Maryland and planning a hometown wedding from afar. I’m nothing short of obsessed with wedding planning, and am loving the do-it-yourself madness that has now taken over my life! As for me, I’m a craft-loving, martini-drinking, girly-girl who loves traveling, photography, my schnauzer, and above all, spending time with Mr. Tiramisu.
About Mrs. Tiramisu

Sorry for the delay, hive! These recaps take a long time to put together, because I get caught up in all of our pictures when trying to choose the few to use to tell the story of our wedding day. Did I mention that our fabulous photographer gave us over 1200 edited images? It’s overwhelming, and every time I look through them, I find new favorites.

Once again, all photos (except where noted) are by the wonderful Samantha Warren of Samantha Warren Weddings.

When we left off, I was dressed and decked out in my new jewelry—courtesy of my soon-to-be new husband. I was a little tear stained from the note he had written me, and we were ready to go…

I had totally forgotten that there would be flowers! I was blown away when I saw my bouquet:

I think I’ve said this before: I gave my florist almost no direction, but the flowers came out even better than the (totally ambiguous) picture I had in my mind. Having the lace from my grandmother’s wedding gown wrapped around my bouquet so that I could have it in right my hands while I walked down the aisle was awesomely comforting:

I can remember feeling a little nervous while Sam was taking these pictures, but I was also so excited that I think that’s all that shows through. I think the thing I love the most about our photos is all of the emotion that was captured. It really brings me right back to those moments when I look at them. You can just see the anticipation and elation on our faces.

This is what it feels like to be a bride:

Our trolley was right on time to pick us up, and I happily climbed aboard:

The trolley may not have been the most well planned out idea, as wide open windows and carefully crafted bride and bridesmaid up-dos aren’t a great mix. But it was so much fun that nobody cared:

The beautiful weather was still holding up when we arrived at the church:

The last few guests were filtering in:

And look who was waiting at the other end of the aisle, catching sight of his bride for the very first time:

Next up: Will the self-proclaimed “ring barrier” deliver? Will Miss Tiramisu or her Dad cry more on the walk down the aisle? And what is up with Mr. Tiramisu’s left eyebrow anyway?

I just scrolled through the other recap posts and - I know EXACTLEY where you got married, which is just so strange!! You feel like you get to know the bees through this blog and then when you see the actual pictures and know where they are - it’s jsut eerie! My grandmother in law is from York and lives there and we go up often to visit. It’s just so funny! You look gorgeous in your picts and so happy! Congrats!

Oh, you look beautiful, especially the full length shot of you with the bouquet.

I think in that pic Mr. Tiramisu is thinking, “Hubba hubba!”
