Over Labor Day weekend, Mr. Martini, one of my MOHs, her husband, and I took a little road trip out to Williamsburg, VA, to attend Caroline and Andrew’s wedding at the Kingsmill Resort. The wedding lasted all weekend with tee times, happy hours, and brunches. I was able to capture a few of the amazing details that they put into their wedding, and luckily, I also got permission to share the weekend with Weddingbee!
I’ve never received an out of town bag before, so I was super excited when I was handed one during check-in.
The bag contained a large can of tea, three boxes of cookies, and sweets baked by the family of the groom! Everything was SO yummy and, needless to say, I probably can’t fit into my wedding dress anymore. Also enclosed in the box were a schedule of events for the weekend and a pamphlet of attractions in Williamsburg. I loved all of the personalization and organization that went into the boxes.
I still tear up just thinking about Caroline crying up at the altar.
Here’s a picture of someone signing the guest book, which by the way, was sooo adorable. I loved how their engagement pictures turned out! In their engagement pictures they were participating in their favorite activity—golfing!
The resort was gorgeous! Caroline and Andrew are extremely avid golfers. In fact, their love began with a round of golf, so it was only natural that they got married at such a beautiful golf course!
This was the name of our table. I’m not sure if you can tell by this picture, but even the butter was in the shape of golf balls.

Here are the favors. They came with such a cute label! Everything I touched at the wedding was personalized.
I opened the favor box to find a personalized golf ball and tees.

Okay, I just have to dedicate a section of this blog to the food, it was awesome! I’m not exactly sure what the first course was, but about two seconds after I took a picture of it, it was in my stomach. Then came the salad, followed by filet mignon with crab cakes. The next day we were still talking about how amazingly good the food was.

One thing I don’t have pictures of, but wish I did, was the photo booth. Attached to each escort card was an “admit one” ticket. We totally forgot to check it out until late in the evening, but we we’re glad we did. We were led outside to the balcony and were surprised to find a photographer waiting with a camera. On a table were several crazy props like wigs, mustaches, hats and other similar things. I had a little too much fun with the pig nose. The photo booth was a very cute idea! We all had an amazing time.
Congrats again to the lovely couple!
