I first came to Weddingbee from my local Knot boards, and ever since I became a faithful reader here, I always looked forward to Wednesdays and the wedding porn that was Mrs. Bird of Paradise’s Knottie Bios of the Week. I look forward to carrying on the torch, and want to thank her for the years of beautiful bios she has found for Weddingbee through readers and on her own! Cheers Mrs. BOP, and I look forward to following your journey via your beautiful blog!
I’ll kick off my first official KBotW post with two of the Knotties that really were my first inspirations as a newly-engaged bride. They taught me that ’home made’ didn’t have to look ’homely’ and that attention to detail would really pay off!

does anybody know why some knot bios have those really pixelated images - even when they weren’t like that before?
@Miss Shortcake: the images are stretched wrong, thats all.
Miss Shortcake: It happened to my bio too. Apparently Shutterfly changed their format so everyone who had image links to them had that problem. I ended up having to move all my pictures to Flickr.
Ooooh…great choices! Izanassi was actually the DOC for my wedding last year. She’s amazing and her wedding looked absolutely gorgeous.

sakegirls did the flowers at my wedding in May, and she was awesome. The flowers were wonderful, and Karen was so nice and professional.
great choices… they were also the source of my inspiration =). they were both my favorite vendors as well!
This is going to sounds silly…but I always have the hardest time searching for bios on the knot. Do you have any tips?

There is a really great Knot bio under the username “redshoegirl”- her bio is AMAZING and you will definitely get lots of ideas from her own wedding. Also at the end of her bio she lists favorite knot bios- she calls it wedding porn (to funny)..but man she picked the best of the best from The Knot.
