Seriously, though, I hope you feel better really quickly!
Think of it this way — it’s better than getting strep two DAYS before your wedding! Relax and recuperate, Miss S. You’ll be back on your feet in no time.
I’m on my fourth day of antibiotics for a sinus infection…no fun being sick…especially this close to the big day. Get lots of rest and delegate. =)

Oh no!!! Just get lots of rest and take those meds, should help you to get better quickly. So sorry to hear you’re sick….we are 2.5 weeks from our wedding day (October 4th) so I can’t imagine! Get well soon!!!!

Is it Strep for sure? My husband was siiiiiiiick (like, he has never missed a day of work, and he missed FOUR!) two weeks before our wedding. He didn’t have strep, but some virus, so there was nothing the docs could give him. If it’s strep, get on antibiotics and you’ll be much better in 48 hours! Good luck…it’s such an incredibly stressful addition to wedding planning, I know!

It’s all good - I had pink eye and laringitis on my wedding day, and I still had an amazing day!
I have a sinus infection and laryngitis now and wedding 9/27, also no power at my house and evacuated due to Hurricane Ike. I am really freaking out about my last minute wedding projects, esp. since everything has to be shipped to Colorado from Houston. Ugh, major wedding breakdown coming soon I’m sure.
take good care of yourself — it’s just stress talking. forget last minute projects that won’t matter and focus on taking care of yourself.
i’m a huge believer in NAC, echinechia, golden seal, zinc and vit. c. also, drinking hot water with just lemon juice and honey feels sooo good on your throat! take care.
My hubby is nursing tonsillitis right now, and he swears by that apple cider vinegar gargle: every hour, gargle warm, diluted vinegar.
Also, anything with slippery elm in it is soothing for a scratchy throat, and Zinc and Vitamin C really do help you get better faster.
Finally, a big blanket, a couch, some pillows and a friendly furbaby will all help. Feel better fast!!

If at all possible take the penicillin shot- it hurts a ton but will clear up strep faster than anything else! Get Well!
dang…..i’m sorry girl. you can kick it. you got 2 weeks. lots of rest, water and vitamins.

Poor baby! Do take care and don’t overexert! My new hubby swears by Crown Royal as a gargle . . . it can’t hurt!
Oh no! Well your body breaking down is a sure sign of stress. Take it easy! (and I like the idea of gargling with Crown Royal, hee hee!)

YOU MUST SUCK ON LIFE BRAND ZINC LOZENGES!!!!!! I got it 1 week before my wedding in Maui…(we leave friday) Oh and Life brand from Shopper Drug Mart taste the best..others are gross!
