replace my old camera with this new one to take some more awesome photos!

I would take some FUN FUN pictures on our honeymood!!!! Oh pleeeeeeeease!
Oh my goodness! My wedding is next weekend, and my bachelorette party is this weekend! I would use the camera as a small camera to tuck in my purse to take everywhere & capture all the wedding fun for the next 12 days! And the free site would be used to share the photos with all my friends and guests! Great prize!
take lots and lots of pictures.. not that i don’t do that already. and i would use the certificate to create a photo book!
I would use it to replace the old beat up camera we have now.
Neither my fiancee or I own a digital camera so we don’t have a single photo of the both of us together.
Hopefully the DMC-LZ3 would change that!
This would be PERFECT for our honeymoon in just a few weeks!
What a generous gift!!
I’d love this camera - all my friends and family live so far away and I want to share as much as I can.
I would use it for everything, since my camera died a few weeks ago at a friends wedding ![]()
WOW! This site is just what I’ve been looking for. My mom keeps bugging me to put pictures of her Gran-dogger online somewhere, and this is just what I’ve envisioned. How perfect would a new camera be to take those pictures with ![]()
This would be great to let my cousin use for our “faux photo booth”–mine is getting outdated!
My camera is very old and is getting a little worse for wear. I would totally use this camera to replace the old one, and then I could showcase many more DIY projects on my wedding blog! ![]()
If i won I would use the camera and the 50 dollars to make a scrapbook of our honeymoon. Please pick me!
I would take MUCH better pictures than I already do, I ‘m dying for a newer, better camera
PLLEEAAASSEE!
All my excitement is just around the corner….showers, bach parties, the BIG DAY and the honeymoon! I’d use the camera to document all that wonderful madness, and then make a Shutterfly photobook to remember it forever!

I keep referencing in my blog that my camera is from the 1990’s and im not even joking. Its even broken, and the battery door doesnt shut, so i have to use DUCT TAPE to make it stay closed. Yes, Duct tape can fix anything and its silver, so you can tell my camera is taped up until you look really close.
Pick me!
I would use this wonderful camera to replace mine, which was stolen last weekend after my bachelorette party! I lost all 200 photos of a very fun weekend, so I can’t wait to replace it and create more memories.
I would use the camera to document the wedding planning process and share it with our out-of-town family and friends and would use the $50 gift certificate for all of the photos I take!
I would use a new camera to continue taking pictures of what’s going on in my life, from crafts to home improvements to family outings to the boring everyday stuff, because that’s the primary way I keep up with my family- through sharing pictures online. I’d also use the gift certificate to print photos for my shut-in great-aunt, because that’s how she keeps up-to-date on a lot of stuff, through prints. Hopefully, I’d be able to take more pictures with a smaller camera, and keep everyone more up-to-date!
i would use the camera to take photos of my aunt’s wedding in Perth, Australia and the $50 to print those photos.
What an awesome giveaway! I am one picture takin’ fool and I would use this camera to capture the new life of my hubby & I and our three kids! I will be using this site to share all the wedding photos taken and the gift will help print some of the suckers off! ![]()
Well since my purse and camara were stolen last month it would be replaced with this one. My fiancee and I live far from our families so it would be used to help us share our adventures with them and to help us capture new memories.
My camera is being held together with tape. The new Panasonic camera would be a great replacement! The $50 gift certificate would be used to make photos books for my bridesmaids as part of their gift. I have known my girls since grade school and I have a ton of photos to upload and make “through the years” books!
I would use the $50 to print out photos for one of my many scrapbook projects!
ooh this camera would come in handy for my wedding which is coming up!! i’d give it to my best friend who takes amazing pictures and have her snap away during the wedding - then of course use the $50 to make a photo album and give it to my parents - would be such a great wedding gift!!!
I would use it for just about anything, to capture those great moments with family and friends. I would use the $50 to print out the photos to frame some of the pictures and give copies to my friends and family.
I’d take pictures of my Fiance because he’s so freakin’ cute! Then I’d use the gift certificate to print all the pictures and scrapbook them.
How funny, the whereabouts of my camera is unknown. I was thinking of purchasing another camera this weekend. I’ve volunteer to be the “photographer” at my cousin’s babyshower. The $50.00 gift certificate would be used to create and purchase a photo guest book for my upcoming wedding.
I’d finally have a 2nd camera I can share with my husband so that we both one have and don’t have to fight over the one we have. And with the certificate, I’d finally be able to make my long overdue wedding photobook (7 years in the making!).
Our camera has been broken for over a year and have not been able to replace it. This camera is much needed to take pictures of our our nephew/niece due in Dec. And I would use the $50 certificate to create photo book of our wedding. Thanks and I love shutterfly.
to take pitures of our vacation and show the great times we had
I would love to take pictures of my new niece and use their site to make something!
I’d use this camera to capture all of the behind the scene stuff the paid photographer would miss. I’d probably ask a friend to carry it around with her throughout the day. Those candids can be the best shots!
ah! my camera just died a watery Ike related death.
This camera will take pics of my man and I and they will be displayed on our wedding day pic slideshow…
OOHHH… this would be perfect. With the three weddings I’ve been to in the past three weeks, I found out that my camera will no longer focus… at all. Every picture (even with auto-focus on or off) comes out completely fuzzy. I take so many pictures… and this would save me from spending more money than I need to on a non-wedding related expense.
Love the photo-sharing idea!
I would use it to take great pictures for the time my husband and I have left living together, before the long-distance years of our marriage start! Time to start capturing the great memories!!
I would take TONS of adorable pictures of my daughter EVERY day. Also pictures of food and other good things.
And cakes.
I actually REALLY need a new camera, mine has decided that auto focus is for pansies!
I would bring the camera around withe me everywhere to catch life moments! I would use the gift card to make an awesome shutterfly wedding album. I’ve already made one for a friend and it was beautiful!
oh I’d take lot of pictures AND send them to family and friends
I would bring this camera with me EVERYWHERE and take pictures of EVERYTHING!
I would save the gift card until after the wedding to print pics from our guests off of the Shutterfly website!
I’d use this camera to replace my current one (which is getting old) and use the $50 to make photo books for my parents!
I would give the camera to my husband (who needs a new point-and-shoot) and use the gift card to make photo books for our parents for Christmas.
I love it!! The camera would help me share pics of bridesmaid dresses that I like with my bridesmaids!! And the 50 would go towards making a guest book for our wedding.
I lost my camera the night I got engaged! Sadly, I can’t get my pictures back but this will definitely help cheer me up about it!
The camera would be a great replacement for mine, which is dying a slow death… And with the Shutterfly gift certificate, I’d probably make some mugs with wedding pics — my mom LOVES to see her favorite faces on mugs as she drinks her morning coffee!
I would use it to take pictures at my halloween engagement party. Yeah!!
I would use this at the wedding for the photo guestbook. I’d hook it up to a printer so guests can take pix, print them out and put them into the book and sign them.
I’d use the gift card towards printing photo save-the-dates or thank you cards.
Most everyone in my techie family has a newish digital camera-except my mother. She would love to have it for my wedding day and to take pictures of the quilts that she makes and gives away.
Oh! This is so exciting! I am DESPERATE for a new cam. My current one has served me well for many years, but it’s time. I would use the Panasonic to document my wedding story from start to finish, and the gift certificate to share with friends!
oh wow, if I were to win this camera, I would use it to take pictures of all my wedding planning so that I could send the photos to my mom (out-of-state wedding). I would especially love to have the camera to take with me when I go dress shopping as mom and sisters won’t be able to come along with me! Lastly, I would use the camera to take pictures while we are on our honeymoon so that my fiance and I could have memories to look back on as we get old and fuzzy around the brain. ![]()
Woo hoo, free camera. I would use the gift certificate to print out all the digital prints since I have plenty that need to be printed.
@soontobeewed: I forgot to say that I’d use the giftcertificate for a photo book of all our planning and honeymoon photos!
I’d use the camera to take pictures for my blog, of course! I don’t have a camera at all, so it would fill a pretty big hole in my life. And I’d use the gift certificate to print out wedding and honeymoon pictures to share with the family.
I would use this at my bachelorette party in Vegas in October and my wedding later in October. I don’t currently have a camera and I would love to have pictures of this fabulous time in my life.
I would use the camera for all the weddings, bachelorette parties, and showers I have coming up (I have a lot)! I would use the GC to make photo books.
I would use the camera to document all of my events…ie bridal showers, Rehearsal dinners, ceremony…. maybe bachelorette party….depending on how tame they are..
same goes for the honeymoon. ![]()
I would use it for the DIY photobooth we are having at the reception…I’ve been wondering where I was going to get a good quality camera for that!
WOW! This is amazing! I have a camera on me ALL THE TIME so i would use if for everything….really. The giftcard would go towards our photo books.
i can finally have a new camera because mine is over 4 years old. and i cant wait to have tons of pictures of everything.
I would use this camera to take pictures at the 2 weddings I’m in on 10/4 and 10/11! Then I could send those brides pictures in the mail so they would have mail when they got back from their honeymoons!
I have had my digital for 4 years now and I have been debating to get a new one. I love the idea of a close friend using MY camera to catch candid shots of us on our big day.
I would use the giftcard towards either a website or gift books.
I love to have fun pics from all of our wedding weekend events. Then I could print copies with the gift card!
I this camera would be perfect to help recreate a DIY photobooth we are making for our wedding and the site would make it easy for guests to get extra copies! Besides using the camera for the obvious pre/post/wedding day events I would use the camera and the $50 to take pictures of how we use all the gifts we recieve from our guest and then print off a copy to send to them in our thank you notes. Just a little something to show them how much we appreciate their thoughtfulness.
I would use it at my wedding! Nothing is written that the bride cannot take pictures!
I would use the $50 for some large format prints of our various travels…
I would use the digital camera to take pictures for our Save the Date magnets!! I would love to use our photographer but am not ready to take engagement shots yet… so a professional camera would totally help!!! The $50 would go towards a photoalbum I’d create for the wedding guestbook!! Yay Shutterfly!
we could definitely use a camera like that! We will print photo albums from shutterfly and give them as gifts to our parents and family. We will also display the albums at the reception.
Let’s see…I would use this lovely camera to:
- snap photos of my friend’s upcoming bachelorette party
- hook up to a printer at the reception for a photo booh guestbook
- pass it around at the showers, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, and all other wedding activities
- take awesome shots of the honeymoon!
This site looks awesome - I think it’d be great to have a website to point people to view and upload photos from the wedding!
I’d use the $50 to help make my save the dates! And I’d use the camera for taking pictures of my graduation from law school, my brother’s graduation from college, and my sister’s graduation from high school - all of which take place this May!!
I would use the camera to take photos on our honeymoon and use the $50 to make a photobook! I think this is my favorite WB contest yet!
I would take tons of pictures of me and my DH making super ugly faces, then I’d make a photobook for our coffee table. It’d be hilarious seeing people’s reactions to our ugly mugs.
i would take more photos and use the certificated to make holiday cards
It would be great to use for our DIY photobooth! Also, my fiance doesn’t have a digital camera & he really wants one! The $50 gift card would be great to use for printing copies of the pictures from the photobooth for guests! And, of course it was definately be used plenty after the wedding as well! It would be a greatly appreciated wedding gift!
ooo.. take pictures and make a photobook for my parents or boyfriend!
What a great giveaway!
Here’s my behind-the-times confession: I’ve never owned a camera. Not even an old film camera! Every time we’ve gone venue hunting or anything else wedding-related (or non wedding-related, come to think of it), I’ve had to borrow one. I’ve been in the market for a digital camera for a while now, but with the expenses of the wedding and grad school my intentions have been relegated to a place my fiance and I affectionately call the “BBB” — the Budget Back Burner.
If I won, I would use the camera & gift certificate to create and print albums to give as gifts.
Thanks for a great giveaway, Weddingbee + Shutterfly! ![]()
i would take pictures of my friend’s wedding in october (i’m a bridesmaid) and make her a photo album of personal pictures i took throughout the day. ![]()
I don’t have a digital camera and I always have to steal my fiances. I would use my camera to take pictures of my family and friends and post them on my blog!
This is a great giveaway! There would be a million uses for the camera: weddings, showers, vacations =) and the the $50 can be used towards printing an album! yay!
I would use the camera to document my bridal shower, bachelorette party and honeymoon. Then I would use the sutterfly $ to send pictures with all of my thank you notes.
well, my little brother is getting married this summer, and my husband is going to be taking some of the pictures with his fancy-pants camera. I would love to be able to take some of my own! We’re also thinking about having a baby in the next year, so I’d love to have a great camera to take pictures of the pregnancy, and the kiddo!!
I would take pictures of all the people I want to remember when I’m old and crotchety.
So that I can take good pictures on my honeymoon, I’m about to start a photography for beginners class at my local art school. A new camera would totally help me out!
I would use this to take pictures of our new apartment now that we’ve moved! I would also use it to help stay in touch with friends, send pictures with Christmas cards, and take pictures of my family when we get together.
Cute camera! I would use it to take pictures of my hot hubby. I’m not going to say what kind of pictures…
Okay i’d probably use it to take pictures of my family and friends, and the cruise we’re going on this winter!
i would take pics of EVERYTHING! i feel as if i don’t capture all the little moments in life…
I would use it to take Christmas pictures and the certificate to finally put together our wedding album.
It would help me actually remember to take pictures of all events. I didn’t even have a camera with me the night we got engaged- it would be great to have a digital to go everywhere with me.
Oh, capture all those important moments with bridesmaids! and the print them!
i dont actually own a digital camera! I have to share my finace’s. i would throw it in my purse and take pictures of EVERYTHING. then make some fabulous photo books. ![]()
I would use it to take pictures of our honeymoon in Italy!
Although I already have a camera, I would pass on the digital camera as a giveaway for our guests who upload their photos onto the site by have a voting contest for the best picture. The winner of that contest would win the camera. As for the $50 certificate, my hubby and I will use it to print out all the great photos our guests took that evening.
i have a dslr and i love it, but i have a really hard time taking it everywhere - i would LOVE to have a point and shoot. ![]()
I would totally use it as a spycam and take sneaky pictures. Maybe not, I’d probably use it on our honeymoon, but I’d pretend it was a spycam!
it would be fun to own a new camera..i love taking pictures…and the $50 will be awesome cause this year for Christmas we are going to give our family and friends pictures of them that we have taken throughout the year!
My old camera is a piece of junk! I could definitely use a new one to take pictures of everything wedding-related (and everything else, of course).
I would use it to take fun photos of my bridal party to post to our website. I want the rest of the wedding guests to know how crazy and wonderful our bridesmaids and groomsmen are!
I would give the camera to my fiance to document the wedding day from his point of view. I have a digital camera and he does not, so we usually end up with photos mostly from my perspective. Of course, we’d love to post lots of wedding and honeymoon photos to a group site for our families to enjoy!

I will take photos of my doggie on a great adventure and then write a children’s story that the pictures will illustrate. Then I’ll use the gift card to buy a photobook with the images to make my children’s book with… and then I’ll use THAT as a prototype for a HUGE book deal and become rich and famous!
i would use the camera for absolutely everything! i actually (gasp!) don’t even own a digital camera, so I imagine I would be snapping til’ my fiance killed me. and i love the shutterfly photobooks, and would probably create a book for our honeymoon.
I’d use the camera to begin taking pictures of the wedding planning process. Good luck everyone!
I’d use it for letting my photography gifted friends do whatever they want at the wedding without worrying about needing to fly with their equipment. The gift certificate would be great for printing out silly photos.
My old digital camera died on my birthday!! It was the saddest birthday ever! I would use this camera like I used my old one - to constantly take self portraits of my fiance and I in our travels to getting married. I was also JUST trying to figure out what we were going to do with our guests photos as we have a couple semi-professionals who will be attending the wedding as guests!
My fiancee is far more artistically gifted than I am, so I’d let her have fun with the camera.
I would give it to my daughter. She is planning the wedding long distance while she is in grad school. I could get real pictures of the wedding details instead of ones on her cell phone.
I would use it to keep in touch with my parents (who are starved for wedding pics right now) and document the adventures of our spoiled princess Pomeranian/Dachshund named Argon ![]()
Oh awesome! I’m going to set up a DIY photo booth and need a digicam since the batteries in mine are basically toast.
Fingers crossed!
I LOVE taking pictures of family & friends! I would love to take the camera on our honeymoon! And the giftcertificate would come in handy to print out all our candid wedding photos!
I LOVE taking pictures of family & friends with this camera! And I would definitely use it to take pictures on our honeymoon! And the gift certificate would come in handy to print out all our candid wedding photos!
This would be the best of all prizes to win–we would dearly love a new camera to take on our honeymood because FI came back from his bachelor party without one ![]()
Woooow… what would I NOT use the camera for? My DIY save the dates would be my first project. Thanks for bringing us this great contest!
I’d use it for up to the wedding photos and for the guestbook!
I don’t currently have a camera so getting this one would be great! I would love to use it for our first year anniversary trip!

I’d also like to use the pics and the gift card to create a photo album of my FI and I for our parents as wedding gifts.
i would use it for our wedding, honeymoon, “photobooth”
I would give the camera to my FI and use the gift certificate to make a photo book from our wedding
I would give it away at our wedding as the prize for the best dancer. I guess that would be re-gifting a gift. Which fits perfectly with our eco-friendly theme.
Well, I could actually download photos from the new camera (my old camera doesn’t always upload well). AND I would use the $50 to get a waterproof case! ![]()
We are going to Japan for our honeymoon, so a new camera would be AWESOME! I would spend the $50 on pix from the honeymoon.
I would use the camera to replace my broken camera that somebody dropped in vegas. ![]()
I would use the $50 for a photobook.
I would use this to create my own photobooth at my wedding! The 50 dollars would be used to print out copies of photos guests take of themselves and use them as thank you postcards to friends and family!
i could definitely use a new camera!
i’d use it to take pics of the weddings we are going to the rest of this year, as well as of our soon to be new baby, and then use the gift certificate to make a photo book.
i would use it for taking pictures on our honeymoon in hawaii!
I would love that camera for the honeymoon- and the gift certificate would let us make albums of all our adventures!
I am a crazy picture taker, and would use the camera not only for everything wedding related, but to take pictures of my dog, niece, friends, potential house, etc…. I would then use the gift card to order the pictures I have been meaning to develop over the past year ![]()
share sites sound like a great idea for sharing all the guests wedding photos after the wedding. I would use the camera to coax unsuspecting persons to take impromptu engagement photos of my and the boy! ; )
I wouldn’t leave home with out the camera, I don’t have a digital one anymore. If I did, I’d take pictures of everything! I’d get more 4×6 prints then you could shake a stick at. I’d frame them and put them up all over the house.
I would use to take pictures, since my old camera stopped working.
I would love this camera to take on our European honeymoon!!!!!!!!!!! And to take pictures of our brand new puppy!
I’d give it to my FI–his digital camera is so old that he has stopped using it. But, I’d love to use it at the reception with a photo printer to get pics for a photo guestbook. The gift certificate would be great for making an album of pics shared by our friends and family thru the site.
The camera would be perfect for recording the details of my wedding planning. As for the gift certificate, my sister made her Thank You’s with Shutterfly and they were fantastic - I’d definitely use that!
I love to make photbooks on Shutterfly. I just made one for my friend who is getting married this weekend of pictures of us from when we met 18 years ago to the present. I am going to cry when I give it to her! I also made a photobook for my FI for our 2 year dating anniversary. It was alot of hard work, but he said it was the most meaningful gift he ever got!
I’d use the camera to take the pictures of my cats - we’re naming the tables after them and we’re going to be doing our “photoshoot” for them soon.
carry it to document my daily routine. i want a blurb book!
I would keep it in my purse at all times and whip it out whenever a kodak moment presents itself! (way too often in my life)
I would use it to create a photobooth at my wedding. The gift card would go a long way towards printing copies from the booth for our guests to receive in the thank you cards.
Well, dur…I’d take pictures, and order pics from our wedding!
yeah… a camera would be a remarkable thing to win! i would love to be able to take more photos of friends and family…and there would be no better time than at my wedding. i would be able to print so many of my photos and have them delivered by shutterfly!!!
yeah… a camera would be a remarkable thing to win! i would love to be able to take more photos of friends and family…and there would be no better time than at my wedding. i would be able to print so many of my photos and have them delivered by shutterfly!!!
oooooh fancy camera….
i would hand the camera over to my incredibly talented cousin to take getting ready pics on my wedding day, and then apply the gift card towards making individual photobooks for my bridesmaids for post wedding thank you presents
(btw, i have seen books made from shutterfly and they are VERY cool and professional)
i would use the camera to replace my other very old digicam. and i would use the money to buy accessories for my new camera!
FI and I have NO pictures together, so a digicam would be fantastic…
I would take it on my trip to cambodia this january!
Hi WeddingBees,
I have been an avid reader of your blog for 3 years and I am now finally getting married. If I were to win this camera, it would be a great opportunity for me because quite frankly there is no room in my budget for anything other than paying off debt and paying for this wedding ourselves. To win this camera would provide me with an opportunity to have my very own camera and to be able to capture moments of my own special memories just like all of you. To win the 50.00 gift certificate would be the icing on the cake, I would actually be able to afford not only photos but a great album for our family. I really would love to win this opportunity but I am so grateful to be considered. Thanks for reading!
I would definitely keep this in my purse and snap every funny thing I see everyday and use the gift card to order prints or make a book and share it!
enlarged prints, thank-you photo cards, photobook for the parents
I would finally print out pictures from graduation and birthdays that are patiently floating around on my desktop!
Camera = HoneyMoon Pics
Gift Card = Photobook of the Honeymoon!
I already have a sharesite and I really like it. They are very well designed for a “free” site!
I’d hand it off (not for good!) to a friend who isn’t in the bridal party and send her on a photo scavenger hunt. Then, I’d use the gift card to make a lovely leather photbook of all our pictures.
I would use the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ3 camera to take amazing travelling photos and to create my art portfolio! Been travelling a lot! And hopefully no more fighting over the camera with my bf to take macro shots of details during our vacations soon!!! =)
The $50 voucher would be perfect for me to share my photos with my family who live far away from me!!!
Great Contest! Thanks so much!
OOOH!!!! our house was broken into and our camera was stolen last christmas (along with lots of other things) We havn’t had the $ to replace it so THIS would be PERFECT!!!
We could share all our pictures with the family members we don’t get to see much!
I would replace our older camera and use the $50 to make a photobook.
My FI and I have been looking for a new camera for a while - both of ours are dying/dead. I’ve been using the camera on my phone, which is 2 mega pixels, for pictures for my blog. This would be awesome!
I broke my own camera about a year ago. I’ve been using my fiance’s, but I hate it. Half of the pictures we took on a cruise (when we got engaged) didn’t come out. I’d love to have a new camera to make sure our honeymoon photos come out!
Well, I just baptized my daughter and I have no money to print out the pictures we took, so the $50 will go to print pictures and, obviously, the camera will be used to take pictures of my blessed family!
I would share them with my good friend who is having their first baby in November! Pictures Galore…and then of course, I’d use the $50 GC to print them all out! =)
I would totally use the camera to take pictures of my developing baby bump and definitely have it on hand for the our baby’s birth. Gift Cert will be used to order photobooks for us and both sets of parents!
I would love to use this to take excellent photos of our Hawaiian Honeymoon! Wohoo!
I would totally use it for documenting planning our wedding. Since my camera went out, I’ve been using my cell phone.
Ooo how lovely! My camera is in the middle of breaking (i.e. screws are falling out… YIKES!) and I need a new one, but I’m trying to save $ for the wedding! I would use a new camera for wedding/honeymoon pics, and some dress shopping (like Miss Pom!). I would love to make a photo book form the Honeymoon pics, so I would use the gift card for that.
P.S.- to anyone considering a sharesite… I have one and I LOVE it!
I would use the camera to send pictures to my maid of honor/sister who moved to CA from our hometown Chicago 1 week after my wedding!
I would use it to document this first year of our married lives. It’s already going by so fast but I want to remember the little moments. The note he leaves me on the bathroom mirror or the mac and cheese suppers we make together.
I would send everyone pictures of our wedding via the internet…and document our moments together!
I would use it to replace a old camera thats been dropped too many times and the giftcard will be used toward a photobook!
I would give the camera to my fiance. I hate that he doesn’t document things and truly can’t because I always have my/our camera.
I’m currently mourning the loss of my digital camera. We went to the florist last week, and when the shop keeper was gracious enough to let me take a sample home, it was then that I realized that our digital camera was gone!
I didn’t realize how useful a digital camera really is during the wedding process. I’ve used it everywhere! From dress shopping, to DIY projects, to staying connected with FMIL in another state, and hopefully to document our honeymoon, a road trip down route 66.
I love shutterfly for printing prints of my favorite pictures, I would use the gift certificate for making a scrapbook of they honeymoon… california or bust!
I would definitely use it on our honeymoon capturing every minute.
My immediate and extended family is spread all over the world from across the U.S. to England, Sweden and even Uruguay! I always use Shutterfly to send photos but alas I suffer from the same problem as many others, my camera just kicked the bucket. I love taking photos to capture every moment so the memory is just as real as the actual event! Using Shutterfly allows me to connect my family members from all around the world to share in those memories that they might miss in person. For example, unfortunately many of those family members will not be able to attend our wedding due to the distance between us. A great camera is essential in re-creating the day through pictures and capturing the essence of the entire event from start to finish. This opportunity would be appreciated not only by me but also every person that can’t be at our wedding. Even though they won’t actually be there, they will be able to view our pictures and feel like they were.
umm i go to a wedding a week so I could definitely use this camera to capture the great moments!
I’d use the camera to take pictures of all the fantastic wedding-related events that are coming up - and then I’d use the gift card to print pics for my in-laws, who have been so generous to us!
My venue is not dog friendly so we are going to take pictures of our dog at different landmarks around Chicago and use them as our table numbers. I’d use the camera to take those pictures!
our camera right now is terrible at action shots because of the delay time so i would immediately start to have my FI jump up and down and run around the apartment and start taking pictures!!! After I was done going crazy I would take pictures on our next trip we go on. HAHA!!!
As for the gift card I would put our engagement photo on a mug for FI’s birthday in a few weeks!!!
PICK ME PICK ME!!
I would love to keep this great little camera in my purse at all times, to photograph friends and family! Also, it would be wonderful to use this camera to take pictures of my sister’s wedding this December to capture special moments. Then I can post the images on Shutterfly for her and all to view ![]()
A lot of my wedding guest are very creative, I would encourage them to play hot potato with the camera during the wedding and then guess who took the various pictures of the share site.
What a GREAT gift and a wonderful way to share our special day!!!!!
I would give it to my best friend for her upcoming wedding. ![]()
To replace my poor sad old broken camera! And since I’ve used digital for years, I never get any actual prints anymore… it’s kind of sad. Having money that I could use towards prints would be great!!
I would use it for the wedding and honeymoon!! Probably make digital scrapbooks with the GC! What a great giveaway!
My mom doesn’t have a digital camera so it would go to her - or maybe she’d get the one I have now
Order photo books with the gc made from all of the shared pics.
The camera would be great for pictures of everything. Family friends and home items. I always thought that was a great idea to have pictures of certain home items for insurance. Shutterfly is such a great site. I love making the photo books.
i’ll ask my sister to take pictures of our engagement shoot and wedding ceremony then i’ll use the $50 certificate to make photo books.
I have to admit I would use the camera to replace mine (which someone spilled a cocktail on and no longer works) and ask a friend to use it to take as many candid shots as possible on our wedding day - the ones of all the guests clowning around before hand - and the one shot of my future husband’s face as he sees me for the first time. Then we’d use it for our honeymoon and use the $50 gift card to purchase our favorite prints of our guests and include the photo of them in our thank you cards!
i would use it take some pictures on our honeymoon to create some lasting memories.
OMG - this would be perfect! My camera just broke, so I need a new one for the honeymoon in November. And the gift certificate would be great for printing out some super-sized prints from the wedding/honeymoon!
A new camera would be great for my mom so she can take pics the morning of my wedding, before my photographer comes.
i would use the camera to document all the reception venues we are visiting soon. and i would use that gift card to get prints made of my future nieces who are absolutely adorable!
I am a picture taking fool. Seriously!
I’d go out with the old and in with the new, then stuff it into my purse so that I’m always prepared for a photo-op.
After that I would mos def have it in my carry-on, on the way to Hawaii where upon our return home I would need medical attention for carpal tunnel finger.
While my finger is nursing itself back to health I would layout some snazzy photo books which would cost me well more than my $50 gift cert to send to print.
I must say; my little master plan would work out well for all parties involved
Wanna see just how well?? PICK ME ![]()
I am a picture taking fool. Seriously!
First I would go, “out with the old and in with the new!”
Then I’d stuff my sexy new Lumix DMC-LZ3 camera into my carry-on bag for our honeymoon to Hawaii. Upon our return I would need medical attention for carpal tunnel finger.
While my finger was recovering, I would lay-out some snazzy Shutterfly albums to print. My sweet $50 bucks wouldn’t be enough so I’d have to spend WAY more because I need multiple albums. One for each couple in our bridal party fo sho.
That being said, I’m thinking my master plan would work out well for all parties.
Wanna see?? PICK ME! ![]()
Oops, sorry! My system froze and I didn’t see my post first post.
Sorry for the double. Hey, at least my story’s still the same.
Decorate! Take pictures and finally hang something on the walls of our new home.
I would take a lot of pictures of my family and friends, especially during the upcoming holidays.
Thank you!

I’d use the gift card to print a bunch of my photos from the website to make mini albums or put in frames!
I’d use the gift card to print a bunch of my photos from the website to make mini albums or put in frames!
I’d use the camera for my upcoming trip to Southeast Asia. And the gift certificate to print all the photos I’ve really wanted to print from our wedding ![]()
I’d use the camera to document our first year as a married couple… and the credit to order some prints!
A dream come true… our camera was stolen. Sad. We’re looking for a new one for our honeymoon next year, this would be perfect. Thanks, WeddingBee for all of the great giveaways you have. MUAH!
One word: HONEYMOON! Promising to post real time photos may just keep the mother-in-law from feeling tempting to meet us in Europe lol.
I think that camera would take some awesome pictures of our honeymoon in Mexico…our current camera has some issues with color, which would be tragic when taking pictures of that beautiful blue ocean!
I am planning long distance and my mom has been a great help. I would give it to her and teach her to use it so she can share all her wedding-related finds with me. And the site would be for sharing wedding photos from our DIY photobooth.
Nice! I would take more pictures of my friends and family! I love taking pictures!
I would have a great friend who is not in the wedding party carry the camera and capture some great candid shots. So many brides say that they feel like they miss out on stuff on their wedding day. I think that having a great digital camera to capture those moments would help me not to feel that way when my day is over. I would use the gift certificate to order prints for my mom. She is an avid scrapbooker and I know she will have a field day documenting her only daughters wedding day. Thanks ![]()
We finally have all our wedding photos, so a website to share them with our guests would be wonderful! And I was always a picture-taking fool, but now that we have combined households I suddenly have twice as many pets, and two kids to photograph. A really good camera that’s small enought to tote around would be a great thing!
My digital camera doesn’t work consistently, so I need a new one with all of the wedding festivities coming up. Then I could print photos of my showers and bachelorette party.
i currently don’t own a camera, and my so has had her’s stolen twice now! basically, we’ve been cameraless for our entire relationship, so i’d use the Panasonic digital camera to make up for lost time and take tons of fun snaps of us together. i’d use the $50 gift certificate to create a photobook for my best friend of her wedding.
My sister has been asking me for a digital camera for her bday and since she is my MOH , I will give this to her if I win considering she only uses this camera for the first time at my wedding =) Then we’re both happy !
I’ll use this camera to take pictures that I’ll animate into a film that will win at Sundance and will give me the money to make the film I’ve always wanted to make
I do not yet have a digital camera and would love to have one for the big day! I would take pictures of the whole experience from my end and share with my family and friends! And we plan on setting up a photo sharing site so that our guests can share their own photos from the big day, so shutterfly would be great for such a project! And with the gift certificate, of course I’d want to create a photobook from all those pictures!
I’ll use this camera to take pictures that I’ll animate into a film that will win at Sundance and will give me the money to make the film I’ve always wanted to make. and I’ll use the gift card to buy thank you gifts for my crew!
I would have it passed around at the wedding and let everyone take pictures! I’d use the gift card to buy prints and include it in the thank you cards.
I’d use the camera to take pictures of our guests. All of the photos from weddings are from a guest’s perspective of the wedding, and there aren’t any of the bride and groom. I’d try to take as many pictures as I can to document the day as I see it.
I’m a picture nut, so instead of telling you how I’d use it, lets just say I wouldn’t put it down! And I’d use the Shutterfly $ to print out what ever pictures I take! ![]()
I would use the camera to take pictures on the honeymoon and send them out as “thank-you” postcards to the folks who attended.
I would use it for my “getting ready” photos and use the gift cert to make a photo book. Fun!
I would use the camera to take pictures for my scrapbook that I’m making for my wedding. The website to share pictures seems amazing…I can’t wait to check it out!
Oh my gosh! I love pictures and this share site is the best idea ever!
