Wedding Day Part I: The Girls Getting Ready
Wedding Day Part II: The Boys Getting Ready
It turns out it wasn’t just the wedding party who was busy getting ready.

I remember looking out at the ceremony site at about 5PM and it was empty.

It turns out everyone was waiting at the Rendezvous Bar! Here are our oldest family friends, Gerry and Sheila, and my Uncle Eric sandwiched in between them. It really meant a lot to us and our families that they were in Cancun to celebrate our marriage. If it weren’t for Gerry, my family might not be in America today. Technically, he’s always been our family’s lawyer, but they have always been like family to us.

Here’s Mr. Lovebird teaching his medical school classmate, Rich, how to use our digi cam.
Here’s a picture of my maternal grandparents capturing the beautiful surroundings.

Our ring bearer, Brian, our flower girl, Jessica, and their big sister, Tiffani.

Our ring bearer and his daddy, my Uncle Ben.

Mr. Lovebird’s cousins, Shuyi and Michelle, taking it all in…

Weddings are great opportunities to dress up and get together to take pictures!
My Aunt Jeanne, Uncle Wilson and my cousins, Cindy, Vivian and Christine.

This is one of my favorite shots of the day.
This is Mr. Lovebird’s Uncle Yaoxing. I love how relaxed and happy he look in this picture!

A beautiful shot of my Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Wilson at our ceremony site. Who wouldn’t want to get married here?

A picture of Mr. Lovebird’s family taking pictures of each other… priceless!
One of the reasons I love our photographers, del Sol Photography, is because they always love taking the “uninvited guest” pics… here is one of them.
I love this picture of Mr. Lovebird’s youngest cousin, Kevin, fixing his tie right before he ushers my MIL down the aisle.
Our wonderful flower girls and ring bearers all lined up and ready to go! Aren’t they the cutest?
Our enchanting flower girl, Divya, readying herself as the bridesmaids come towards her.

Looks like everyone is seated and ready to go!
Looking back, we’re really grateful to have these pictures of our guests. When we first signed the contract with Sol Tamargo, I don’t think a second shooter was even in the contract. Of course, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Vincent was going to be bringing Christian, his second shooter, with him! Not only did I have Vincent all to myself up until the ceremony, but Christian was able to capture some amazing moments of Mr. Lovebird with his groomsmen and our guests before the ceremony. It wasn’t until I was writing these posts did I realize how fortunate we were to have two photographers on the day of the wedding. Imagine all the moments I would have missed out on! But, I’ve also seen amazing weddings shot by just one photographer, so I’m not saying that a second shooter is a necessity by any means. I’m sure you catch my drift!
Are you having a second shooter at your wedding?
