Escort Cards

I had such high hopes of leisurely blogging about all my thoughts and feelings leading up to the wedding this week, documenting how it all went down - what a fool! Instead I am scrambling to finish up so much stuff at work, that I’ve barely had a second to think about what’s actually happening and am basically running around like a chicken with my head cut off. So when I get back, dear readers, I promise recaps of all the little details. We’ll have much to discuss while waiting for the professional pictures! In the meantime, I did manage to take some pictures of the escort cards…

We decided to go with the wishing rock idea for the escort cards, and once again Michele Clark came through with some beautiful calligraphy for the cards!

I can hardly wait to see how they look all laid out on the table! The large glass container for the rocks will be in the middle, then there will be two hydrangea arrangements on either end. It is so surreal to see it all finally coming together…

Mrs. Sundae,

I am currently the maid of honor for 2 weddings next spring and was advised to look at some of the posting on this site. I almost fell out of my seat when I saw “Lake Geneva”, I have a couple of family members up there and I’ve gone ever summer for as long as I can remember! I LOVED reading (yes I admit it) all of your entries and being able to picture the abbey. I hope you do post some of the pictures- I would love to see them!
