About Mrs. Toucan

After the AWESOME performance by the ladies of Gund Kwok, all of our guests funneled into the dinner room, and the intros began starting off with our proud parents! <click images to enlarge>

I think you might be able to guess which set of parents belong to me and which belong to Mr. T. ;)

Following our parents, our lovely bridesmaids escorted by our handsome groomsmen…

And then, it was our turn! Introducing the new Mr. and Mrs. Toucan!
After our introductions, we had planned to go straight into our first dance since we were already standing in the middle of the dance floor. However for some reason, instead of cueing up our first dance song right away, our DJ started playing some techno dance song. Mr. Toucan and I didn’t know what to do… except dance!
Evidently, I thought it was hilarious…
Finally, I heard the familiar tune of Elvis Presley’s The Wonder of You, and Mr. Toucan and I danced our “real first dance.”
We purposely picked a short tune on purpose (about 2.5 minutes long) to avoid feeling awkward on the dance floor, but even then, the song felt really long!

(I think in this picture, Mr. T just asked me if the song was always that long…)

Despite a little awkwardness, and having 2 “first dances,”
I think we both really relished our first dance moment…

Love your photos, and your dress is absolutely beautiful. As a huge Elvis fan (yes, I was married in Vegas by Elvis and never had more fun in my life), I think it’s so great that your first (real) dance was to The Wonder of You…congratulations!
