After searching and searching for a wedding cake topper, we never found anything that we could picture being on top of our cake. The traditional bride and groom toppers look nothing like Mr. Spring Roll and I, and although cute, animal toppers aren’t for me. I could have opted for no topper, however, a cake without a topper is incomplete in my eyes. After several weeks of contemplating, we decided to go with a monogram cake topper.
I ordered a 5 inch (based on the website recommendation for a top layer of 6 inches) ’W’ in Scriptina font from Wedding Cuts for $32.85. Additionally, I purchased one box of orange and pink peel-and-stick rhinestones for around $4 at Jo-Ann. Using a pair of tweezers, I peeled off the adhesive from each rhinestone and placed them on one by one, alternating between the colors.

While working on our cake topper, I looked over to my left and found Isabella getting into her “toy box”. She was very determined to find a certain item, resulting in her jumping into the box. She came out with a chew hide, one of the dozen she has floating around the house.
