We really, really need some prayers and well wishes for a sunny Saturday, please!

Does anybody know of some cool indoor locations for wedding photos in Fort Langley, or Langley, British Columbia?

I have trust issues with Vancouver’s weather forecasters (having lived here all my life). So I will PRRRAAAY that the sun will be shining on your wedding day!

And as for indoor places for pictures, why not considered Surrey or any other town that’s nearby?

Surrey Place Mall/ Central City has some really neat architectural details.

Monks coffee shops.

There are some really nice grocery stores.

Strip malls.

Auto malls.

There is a cute railway station near Fort Langley I believe, also Fort Langely itself has some cute shops and of course the adorable Fort Langley Hall.

I know Vancouver’s weather is usually a crap shoot, but just think outside the box a little and your photos will be perfect!

Good luck Miss Shortie!

I say this from experience and with all love and respect, but stop looking at the forecast! There was a 50% chance of rain on our wedding day, and I was soooo worried! I kept looking out the window every 15 minutes to see if clouds were moving in! Well, it did rain on our wedding day, but only in the morning and with very light sprinkles. By ceremony time the weather was PERFECT! You can’t control the weather, so put Plan B in place to calm your nerves, but just let whatever happens happen! Your wedding will be beautiful come rain or shine!

Dearest, sweetest Mother Nature,

Please don’t let it rain on Saturday up in BC. Ya see, Miss SC is getting married that day and I want her to have fabulously beautiful wedding pictures just like all brides want.

I’m willing to negotiate this: I’ll let you rain VERY early in the morning…just a little though. Then it can rain all you want after its very late okay?

Your rock Mother Nature so don’t let me down :-)

With all my warm fuzzy love,
Shasha

PS: I realize rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck and all that mumbo-jumbo but I don’t even care okay. Its all about the pictures…and hair. Pictures and hair.

*keeping fingers crossed*

@Shasha: Cute repsonse, Sasha!
Don’t worry too much Shorty. A friend of mine who recently got married was worried as well. It poured on Friday, was sunny and gorgeous on Saturday for her wedding, and STORMED on Sunday. You’ll be fine=)

this past july my sister got married in langley and it rained! we had already planned to take pictures in fort langley and derby (reach) park, and after hearing the forecast, tried to find some indoor places - but didn’t come up with much in that general area of town. we bought some big black umbrellas the week of the wedding and had them in hand on the day of the wedding! we have some nice pictures under the overhang of the train station and with the umbrellas, but after a little bit the rain subsided enough to get some pictures taken without shelter! :) by the end, we had very wet feet and her dress was a little messy at the bottom BUT the pictures still turned out beautiful! i have pictures from her wedding if you need any inspiration. the umbrellas might add to your vintage feel… ??? singing, “sayin’ a little prayer for you…” (and good weather!).

Hey I think you’ll get some super cute pics if you embrace the rain and take some umbrella and rainboot shots!
