Last Minute Detail

October 1st, 2008 @ 5:10 pm by Mrs. Hydrangea

When I was creating all of the station signs for the food, we decided last minute that we wanted Bride and Groom signs for our seats at the table. All of our guests were assigned tables, but not specific seats. However, yours truly wanted to make sure our seats were not only distinguishable, but the best in the house as well.

I took an 8.5″x11″ sheet of black cover stock, cut it in half (vertically), folded it with a bone folder, and pasted the white sheets on it that I created in Adobe Illustrator. I used bits and pieces from the art I purchased on iStockphoto.com to use for our monograms on them as well.

Voila!

What little side projects did you end up adding at the last minute for your wedding?

printing the reading out (and making a few copies) was one of the last things I did. I basically just put it on heavy cardstock & made sure it got to the wedding planning folder!
