A Sweet Sneak Peek

October 2nd, 2008 @ 9:33 am by Mrs. Shortcake

Perhaps I’ve been spoiling you guys with too many details of our big day, or perhaps you haven’t had your fill of Shortcake quite yet… in either case, I’ve decided to keep some aspects of our wedding semi-secret. :) However, as anyone close to me will attest, I am SOOOOOO bad at keeping (my own) surprises - so maybe I’ll just share some eensy weensy little snippets of our favors. Can you guess what the tag and label theme is?

Why is it spelled Marilyn Munroe instead of Marilyn Monroe? All the others appeared to be spelled correctly so I’m confused…

Mrs. Cream Puff says:

OMG, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. I love anything candy, but HOLY CRAP THESE ARE AMAZING AND I LOVE THEM. And I want to eat the candy.

24.
Katharine says:

I similar one I found to Feel Script is “Monterey”. It came free with CorelDraw, and since I didn’t feel like forking out cash for Feel Script, I’m using it for all my stationery!

25.
Kellbell says:

I agree with everyone else -ADORABLE!! But I do think that you should fix the Marilyn “Munroe” to Monroe before there’s no going back and it’s photographed with the wrong spelling. I can’t wait to see the rest of your wedding deets. I love pastel!!!!

puffykins says:

Beaaautiful and super creative label names. Can you please share where you purchased your candy? (was the company fast in delivery? expensive for delivery?)

And yes, i agree with july2008bride…its feel script from veer. its a gorgeous font.

Miss Shortcake says:

@jackie: you can’t normally, if you’re using a program like Word. If you use Adobe Illustrator, however, you have much more creative control over the form of your text :)
