Well—I officially have my MRS degree!

It. Was. Amazing. So amazing. I cannot even begin to describe how thankful I am to be a part of the Hive. See, I received a phone call about four hours prior to our ceremony. It was pouring down rain and Liz, the R.H. Phillips Tasting Room Manager, wanted me to make the call as to where we would be holding the reception: inside or outside. I was so anxious I felt like I was going to throw up.

This is where I was right when I received the phone call.

Then Liz told me that she had the hookup on a contact at the KCRA weather center. Fortunately, the weather lady had just been married a few months ago, so when she was asked, “if it were you, what would you do?” and she answered, “I’d put my reception outside,” I completely trusted her.

She was so right—just in the nick of time, the rain let up and it was BEAUTIFUL. So I have to say, all of your prayers, happy thoughts, anti-rain dances, etc.—well, they did some good. Thank you all SO much! I promise to reward you all with the incredible re-cap photos that Travis took. For now, I’ll leave you with another one of the guests’ photos (uploaded to our Flickr account though our wedding website) to give you an idea of how beautiful the weather was.
