No Two Ties Alike For Our Men

October 8th, 2008 @ 3:54 pm by Mrs. Avocado

If the bridesmaids don’t match, why should the groomsmen?

We will have 6 black suited young men (all wearing their own non-matching black suits), all wearing completely different ties I bought off of ebay. Quality is very different between them all, so I might just have to make them reach in and pull them out one at at a time to decide who gets what one. The tie total came out to less than $30 each.

The 2 ring ceremony ushers will get the 2 light gold extras, and my bridesman Trevor will get the dark metallic one.

Which tie is your favorite? I am not usually a paisley person but I think that tie is super classy.

The different tie idea is great. I like the paisley and the diagonal stripe, they have some special flashiness to them.

Yeah, I like the paisley the best as well. The one with the boxy pattern is my second favorite.

Perhaps your fiance can select which tie goes to whom. I know a few of my friends are very particular about their tie style, whereas others don’t care.

Oh, I gotta vote for paisley as well - I just love that pattern - they’re all nice though.

I like the striped tie. Good idea having different patterns - we went with yellow ties and had the hardest time finding them!

@jtg: I ended up having my MOH hand them out, which worked well and not one person complained.

We ended up giving the most stylish groomsman the paisley tie. I think he appreciated it the most.
