Here’s a little project I threw together last minute to reserve the front row seats at the ceremony for our immediate family.
The necessary supplies:
-Double-sided tape
-Fun heavy, double-sided paper from Michaels
-Ribbon
-A cutting board (scissors work just fine too, of course)
-White cardstock

First I made 5×7 white signs in Photoshop that had the names of each family member on them (”father of the bride,” “mother of the groom,” etc.). Then, I cut the patterned paper to be a little bit larger than the white paper, so some of the pattern would be showing when the white sign was mounted on it. I also cut ribbons for each of the signs (length may vary, depending on the chair).

As you can see, I taped down the ribbon on the front of the patterned paper, and then placed the white sign on top of that (with double-sided tape). On the opposite side of the sign, the ribbon simply hangs over.

Here are all of the signs I made…this project took under 30 minutes, so I highly recommend it to add a little personalization to your ceremony. Mr. Candy Corn calls his grandma from France “Mommy French,” for those of you who are wondering who the heck this Mommy French broad is! Ha ha.

Please keep in mind our ceremony chairs will be white, not puke green chairs from Ikea, but it’s all I had to work with
How many seats, if any, are you reserving for your “VIP” guests?
