Upgrade!

Update: The new server we purchased yesterday wasn’t ready, so we weren’t able to move servers last night.

Weddingbee is still experiencing site slowness, and it crashed a little while ago. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience, and will keep you guys updated!

For reasons we don’t fully understand yet, Weddingbee has been slow for the last 24 hours or so. There have also been some double posting of comments that we’ve deleted.

We’ll be upgrading our servers this evening to bring you a new, faster Weddingbee. Thanks so much for your patience!

I saw a plain blue and white page a couple hours ago. It’s something related to this? there’s a board talking about it.

bil bee says it’s probably our database timing out, so it probably is related.

I am having trouble on the bloggers list pages. The list is not centered, so the sponsor ads are hiding the Bees’ names.

FYI: I was reading your FAQs, and noticed that the section: “What do the character names mean?” needs to be updated.

“Weddingbee is named after the site’s founder Bee. Her handle on the site is Mrs. Bee, and to maintain anonymity for all the bees, they each selected a character with a corresponding icon. We change the type of characters every couple of months - first we started with bugs to stay within the bee theme, then moved onto flowers, fruits, gemstones, vegetables, candy, back to flowers, birds, desserts, and now we’re on tropical fruits.”

This is so not a big deal, but thought I’d point out that you’re much past tropical fruits now
