Welcome to the first ever Bee Spotlight!  Today we’re featuring Mrs. Ladybug, who was actually our first official Bee.

Mrs. Ladybug had a great wedding blog, and when we were getting ready to launch Weddingbee, I asked her if she would do us the honor of becoming a Bee.  She’s hilarious, loves to research, loves to help people, and loves to diy, so she was naturally a great fit.  We decided to have coffee one day when we found out that her office was right next door to my apartment building…. and we chatted for over 4 hours!  The time just flew by!

Mrs. Ladybug is one of the funniest, most down to earth gals I’ve ever met, and in real life, she’s exactly like how she is on her blog.  I’ve been fortunate enough to make many wonderful friends through Weddingbee, and Mrs. Ladybug is definitely one of them.

So since I’ve gotten married almost 2 1/2 yrs ago I’ve…

…gotten a divorce.
JUST KEEDING! I JOKE.

I’ve been living with the hubs in pure marital exstacy (hahaha I know, I’m throwing up in my mouth too!). And I’m lying again. Life has been good though. This past March we had a baby girl who we named Zoe Olivia. Who looks just like her daddy. Who says “ah-bah” (daddy in Korean) and doesn’t even come close to saying “ohmah” (mommy in Korean).

SO WHAT?! She reached for me first and that’s all I gots to say bout dat!

Since last signing off on Weddingbee, I’ve met a lot of Weddingbee readers. I like knowing that they enjoyed reading my entries or that it made them laugh or that they even used some of my ideas.

It’s hard balancing work and your personal life, especially with a little one in the picture now, but every day I manage. Mama’s just gotta win the lottery baby and then we set! I remember I’d get a call from the hubs at work and he’d be like “Wanna go out to eat in the city before we head home?” “SURE!” Just like that. Just on a whim and then we’d take the bus back to Jersey together, me and my bus buddy.

Now I get a call and it’s “You still want me to pick her up right?” “Where’d you park the car?” “Are you coming home late?” “She did diarrhea today.”

Wow. Our lives have changed. And he my bus buddy no more. *sniff* Now the seat I would save for him, next to me, is filled with strangers. Strangers that are kind and don’t cross over the line that clearly makes it my side and your side. Strangers who don’t care about the my side and your side rule and spread their legs like their testicles are the size of softballs and need that much breathing room. Strangers that probably laugh at the deodorant aisle in their local pharmacy and who probably use their shower stall as extra storage space. Stupid girls that like to chit chat on their cells the second their ass touches the seat with their boyfriends who they’re probably going to see when they get off the damn bus so get off the damn phone. I miss my bus buddy.

I bet you’re thinkin “WOW! I missed your sarcastic ass!” So as you can see the hubs and I are still good. We always have baby on the brain now since she stole our lives and have made us into her lil puppet minions. And besides the lack of sleep that causes us to bicker every now and then, we are a happy family.

I’ve enclosed a photo of Zoe and I taken last week. She is the most asianest looking baby in this photo. To put it nicely she rook chinky. There’s nothing I can do about that. Her eyes disappear when she smiles. I think it’s her trademark.

I, on the other hand, look the way I’m supposed to: Psychotic with a side of coffee.

Here are some pictures from Mrs. Ladybug’s wedding!  She wore an Amsale gown and married at the Ballroom at the Ben in Philadelphia.  An interesting tidbit?  Mrs. Ladybug has 4 sisters!
