Clutching At My Heartstrings…

October 16th, 2008 @ 12:14 pm by Mrs. Meatball

I’m a girl that loves me a nice purse. I’ll admit I may have a few too many in a drawer. Some are die hard love affairs, and some are spontaneous purchases whose glory days are over. I am, however, pretty selective in my taste, and rarely do I have an intense reaction to a purse these days.

That is, until I saw these clutches. I absolutely require one. I can’t help it.

This peony one (below) actually made me swoon even more, its just so lurvely… It’s so sexy and edgy and exotic. I showed it to my mom, and she immediately bought one up for me! Thanks mom!

Shipping from the UK is only $6.50, and she takes custom orders too. It was just. too. tempting.

I know I’m not the first bee to fall into RedRubyRose’s clutches (har har), but with designs that beautiful, I’ll certainly not be the last!

Will you carry a clutch on the big day? Or will you leave it to your bridesmaids to tote your stuff around?

Those are really cool purses. I bought one that looked like that the other day - but it wasn’t quite as cool as yours.

Thanks for sharing!!!

The whole bridal party (all 4 of us!) will be sporting RedRubyRose clutches! We will be one fabulous looking group. She is great!

Your clutch is GORGE! But I can’t seem to find which page it’s on; where is it on redruby’s etsy shop?

@Jaynay: I bought it a few moths ago. Its possible she’s out of the peony fabric :( But you should convo her on etsy and ask - sometimes she’s got stuff hanging around that isn’t listed yet. Good luck!

I have the same peony clutch! Girlfriend, I know EXACTLY how you feel about it. Every time I look at it my heart skips a beat. Seriously.in.love.
For my actual wedding day clutch I went back (of course) and bought one of the blue peacock printed ones as my “something blue.”

Absolutely adorable! I love clutches. I like that yours doesn’t scream “bride!”…therefore you can carry it time and time again. Great choice!

Very fun! I was looking at some similar ones myself just recently–and I don’t even usually carry a purse (I always have a bag for my nursing stuff, or my shopping, or my coat pocket for my wallet…)

And by the way Ms. Meatball…can I just say how fantastic I think you are? You seem like such a fun and down-to-earth person–thanks for giving me some much-needed laughs and being so wonderful! I am really enjoying your personality and your posts :)
