About Ms Fondue

You know how all those wedding sites and magazines have lists of questions to ask your vendors? They are useful, sure, but they don’t make it easy to take them along to meetings and record your answers.

So I compiled my own lists of questions to ask our vendors, and printed one up for each vendor meeting I went to. I left enough space so I could write the answers directly on the sheet, along with contact information, and package prices. This made it super easy to compare different vendors.

I thought some of you in the hive might find these useful, so I am sharing my work with you! You can either print them directly off your browser, or copy and paste into your favorite document editing program, if you wish to add your own questions.

They are hosted on Google Documents, so just click on the image to view the whole worksheet.

Venue Worksheet

Catering Worksheet

Photography Worksheet

DJ Worksheet

Ceremony Musician Worksheet

I never made any up for florists or bakers, but I could if anyone would find them useful. :)

Wow you’re awesome, you are right about some of the other ones out there it is usually just a start and always seem to be missing something important, like cost.

Is there a way to open the documents and save them in google? When I click on the link I only get the image of the worksheet itself, I can’t save it.

@Lindsay: The easiest way is to select all, copy, and paste into your own Google Docs, Word, or whatever word processor you use. I wanted to make it as accessible as possible, so I used the publish as web page feature. But copying and pasting into Google will preserve the layout and everything, so you shouldn’t have any issues with doing it that way. Hope that helps!

I would LOVE a florist one if they are not to difficult. I am currently trying to find a florist for my wedding from several states a way and it is by far the most challenging of my vendors. I didn’t think it would be so complicated… maybe it’s just me though. :)

We did something totally similar… I loved all the questions they had in the magazines and books. We thought one sheet would be much easier and portable. :)

This is great! I made some sheets like this when Mr. Taffy and I were looking for apartments. It’s so easy to forget the details of each place when you see so many in one day!

Great resource. If I start a side DOC business are you going to be bugged if I hand these out to my brides? :) You rock!

Thanks for these! Do you mind posting one for the Bakery if it’s not too much trouble? That would complete my collection.

Thank you!
