I just got back from attending Martha Stewart’s yearly Bridal Market party at Tavern on the Green with Mrs. Lovebird.

We shared a car to the airport from the Engage 08 conference, and he is just the funniest, most awesome person ever! To my left is his partner Michael, who works at Gucci (and let me know that Gucci is coming out with a line of wedding dresses!)

Star sighting of the night: Austin Scarlett, designer at Kenneth Pool.  I loved him on Project Runway! 

After gorging on food, candy and desserts galore, it was time for Mrs. Lovebird and I to retire. We always have a great time together (and she’s so super duper sweet she got me a bottle of Veuve Clicquot for my champagne birthday)! 

I’ve always said I’m not much of a networker/socializer, but it’s always great to run into the fabulous industry people I do know.  I can’t deny that the wedding industry is a whole lot of fun.  Can’t wait until next year’s Bridal Market!
