About Mrs. Blush

As mentioned in my previous post, shoes are a big deal for me.  Although I haven’t fully admitted it yet, it’s probably because I like my feet and my feet don’t gain weight as much as say… my waist!  Well, I was shopping at Phipps Plaza with my mom a few months back and we entered Jeffrey.

It was the end of the season so there were lots of sales, but I knew most of the good stuff was already gone. Of course I bee-lined it to the shoes, because you know… feet don’t gain weight (I’m a 6 sometimes a 5.5).

And there in all its lonesome glory, hanging loosely on the shoe stand, the perfect pair of shoes… in my size!! And in our wedding color-PEACH!!

I was already sitting down, shoes off, ready. But oh no - they were too big! The saleslady excused herself, and I thought ”I don’t care if they’re too big; I’m going to stuff stockings in there if I have to!” She came back with foot insoles and they fit so much better! Exhale.

And the best part, ok no the shoe itself was the best part, the second best part was the price. Designer shoes for almost 70% off - I was thrillled! I came home that night and wore them all around the house and took lots of pictures of them. Here are a few:

Wow, they are sparkly! :) I’m so glad you foiund them, and what a sale!

I was thinking about your color palette this weekend- have you found bridesmaid dresses yet? I was in Anthropologie this weekend and found the cutest dress for my shower or rehearsal dinner, and then realized what a cute bridesmaid dress it would make too! I was going to blog about it, but the dress isn’t listed on the website right now and I didn’t have my camera at the store. You should check it out, and if I see it pop up on the website I will send the link your way. :) It reminded me so much of the post about your colors with the invitations!

NWR, but I found a pair of CL’s at 40% off, IN MY SIZE, at the store in the West Village in July. Of COURSE I had to get them, despite the fact that they were still more than $600…

They’re gorgeous! What a lucky find. I haven’t experienced any shoe revelations, but I’m expecting a delivery from zappos.com this very evening. Here’s hoping :-)

THOSE are stunning! You must be thrilled. They’d be a perfect match for me too, if I thought I could wear a heel like that!
