As mentioned in my previous post, shoes are a big deal for me. Although I haven’t fully admitted it yet, it’s probably because I like my feet and my feet don’t gain weight as much as say… my waist! Well, I was shopping at Phipps Plaza with my mom a few months back and we entered Jeffrey.
It was the end of the season so there were lots of sales, but I knew most of the good stuff was already gone. Of course I bee-lined it to the shoes, because you know… feet don’t gain weight (I’m a 6 sometimes a 5.5).
And there in all its lonesome glory, hanging loosely on the shoe stand, the perfect pair of shoes… in my size!! And in our wedding color-PEACH!!
I was already sitting down, shoes off, ready. But oh no - they were too big! The saleslady excused herself, and I thought ”I don’t care if they’re too big; I’m going to stuff stockings in there if I have to!” She came back with foot insoles and they fit so much better! Exhale.
And the best part, ok no the shoe itself was the best part, the second best part was the price. Designer shoes for almost 70% off - I was thrillled! I came home that night and wore them all around the house and took lots of pictures of them. Here are a few:
