Weddingbee Blog

Hello, everyone!  I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to be joining the hive as Miss Deviled Egg! I discovered Weddingbee a few weeks after Mr. Deviled Egg and I got engaged and, hands down, it is my favorite wedding website.  I’ve been inspired by so many of the bees before me, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share my ideas and experiences with all of you.

Our wedding plans involve a lot of crafty DIY projects, many practical decisions, a few crazy, wedding-related experiences, and a whole lot of procrastination on my part.  All in all, I have complete confidence that everything about our wedding day will come together and result in a beautiful celebration of love, family and new beginnings.

So, why Miss Deviled Egg?  I guess because I like to eat them and I’ve been known to make them for family functions.  Plus, any dish that allows me to get extra use out of my cake decorating tips is a winner in my book. 

First off, let me tell you a little about us.  I work at a public relations firm in Pittsburgh and Mr. Deviled Egg is employed by one of the city’s larger accounting firms.  We currently live about 45 miles apart from each other, so our relationship is accompanied by plenty of phone calls, a lot of driving, frequent fill-ups at the gas pump and paying an ever-growing amount of turnpike tolls.  But it’s all worth it!  I am so lucky to have him in my life.  He is the absolute best and I love him with all my heart!   

Anyway, it’s great to be here! I can’t wait to share our wedding journey with all of you!
