The Avo BeeSuit

October 24th, 2008 @ 5:18 pm by Mrs. Avocado

I’m playing on the internet today while wearing the white sweat suit I wore the morning of my wedding. What makes this sweat suit so special? Why, it’s my BeeSuit!

I’m so proud to be a Bee, I knew I had to honor it in some way on my wedding day. My Aunt has a professional embroidery machine and so I ordered a white jacket and pants through her and had her put on my avocado icon and the words “Bee Bride” in the same font that Weddingbee uses. The entire thing cost me $30, which I think is a steal for how absolutely adorable it is.

If I lived closer to her and her machine I would go into business creating these for brides full time, but alas, she is in Washington and I am in Texas now. It was such a wonderful thing for her to do for me and since I am taking classes online at home I plan on wearing it multiple times each week. Good thing we are getting a washer/dryer this weekend so I can keep it sparkling clean!

What are you/did you wear(ing) the morning of your wedding?

I have a “soon to be” zip up with a monogram tank for underneath with a pair of black juicy sweats, very comfy and warm for our northern NJ wedding which could be a bit cool next weekend. LOVE your outfit though. Suits you very well:)

Maybe Mrs. Bee and you bees can come up with some more weddingbee stuff! I bet lots of us would want a sweatsuit as cute as that one.

Yours is adorable. How cute! Maybe even with a little bee flying on it???

As much as I plan, trust me, as soon as the ring is on the fourth finger on the left hand, I will probably figure out what to wear that day and everything else weddinged relat in an hour flat..(giggle). I tend to like details ya know? :P

Btw, isn’t Mrs. Avo quite photogenic? I loved your pics on your relaximoon too!

If only i looked half as cute as this working during the day. You don’t want to see or smell the tragedy that is Mrs. Peng on a weekday.

Ruby Slippers

I want one! A Ruby Slippers one! Except it’s WAY too hot to be wearing anything like that right now. It would have to be a T-shirt…I’m trying to decide what to wear on the morning of, and I think a long sundress will be the best plan.

You look way cuter than I did on my wedding morning! I didn’t really think ahead about what I would wear, so I ended up in a pair of pink sophie shorts from a fraternity’s philanthropy in college and a wild-patterned, peach zip up from my sister’s closet - oh and with red and orange flip flops! Leaving the hair salon in that plus my updo and veil I looked stunning, let me tell ya… haha.
