While I have been very cautious regarding the budget for our wedding, I refused to cut corners on the gifts for our bridal party and family. It is important to me to give each person a gift that they appreciate, and to make them feel appreciated as well. I must say that picking out the gifts for the groomsmen was as easy as pie.
Mr. Spring Roll wanted to give each guy a flask, so I purchased flasks with their initials from The Knot’s wedding shop.
In addition to the flasks, Apple iPod Shuffles are perfect gifts as both guys love music.
I purchased two green iPod Shuffles from the Apple store online, and was pleasantly surprised when I reached the “free personalization” screen. I had the iPods personalized with an inside joke between Mr. Spring Roll and the guy, as well as our wedding date.
Now that you’ve seen the gifts, let’s take a minute to meet the guys:
George, who has the honor of being Mr. Spring Roll’s best man, has been friends with Mr. Spring Roll since High School. He worked as a professional dancer and can do anything from break dance to ball room dance. Luckily, he will be teaching Mr. Spring Roll and I how to dance.
Daniel, my brother-in-law, is Mr. Spring Roll’s groomsman. The two have been friends since Mr. Spring Roll and I started dating. They share a love for Guitar Hero, beer, steak, and shooting beer cans with BB guns.
